A couple of notes from Fox Sports
US Soccer prez Gulati thinks that Zelalem will be cleared to play for the USMNT by April
Tottenham loves Cameron Carter-Vickers, a 17 year old dual national. He's a central defender and is split between playing for the US or England, but is leaning towards us
And Vickers would have to file the one-time switch for England, because he's been playing with our youth teams.

But since Zelalem is now a naturalized citizen and had lived in the US since he was 9, his case is legitimate. However, with corrupt FIFA you never know. It is good news to hear that Vickers is planning to stay because England is appealing. Spurs are planning to integrate Vickers into their first-team practices, which means he might get some run in at least their Carling and early FA Cup campaigns next year
They gave the WC to Qatar; who knows what they will do.
B- team.
Yeah, and obviously no Alexis Sanchez
Quote:
Vargas and Isla for Chile. And that B- team just tied it.
Yeah, and obviously no Alexis Sanchez
Dont forget Vidal and Claudio Bravo
Hell, 3 - 5 - 2, 4-4-2, it doesn't matter; \
Hell, we can't even find three backs: Besler can't play outside and Shea can't mark from MF (he was an onlooker on the go-ahead goal)
WM, I didn't see 1H, and I wouldn't be surprised if Jones can't play sweeper; besides, you're taking out of position one of the few dynamic pieces the USMNT has as either holding or attacking MF
Yedlin has promise but is undisciplined.
Who was playing CB in 2H?
And the 2H Subs, JAGs; Pratt (?) looked mediocre; Altidore and Dempsey non-factors; boring, mediocre football
Game was on FS1 on my TV. I had Francessa on and it came on right after.
Whatever the case, I think it's been a good few weeks for USMNT. Big name Americans coming home to play in MLS is a very good thing for our guys. It's also good to see they appear to be tuning Klinsmann out on that topic. Jozy knows that if he's in form he'll get picked.
Semi-related...the Red Bulls have had a tumultuous offseason, but their team looks stronger now than it did last year.
