That's dumb.
It's pretty obvious that the Giants had Watkins as the #1 WR in the 2014 draft along with everyone else.
They had Beckham at either 2 or 3 on their WR list. They did an outstanding job predicting Beckham was better than the next group of 5-6 WRs rated very similar.
I don't remember a single draft guru swearing how great Beckham would be.
Hence, good job Reese & Co.
After one season, he was definitely the best player in the draft.
Can you imagine trying to game plan with Calvin on one side and Beckam on the other?

Not much of an argument at this point. He clearly was the best of a strong class in 2014. Doesn't mean he'll have the greatest career going forward, but he was no question the top rookie last year.
