atleast the Knicks are looking like a legitimate NBA franchise these days.

I don't know how good he's going to end up, but Galloway is a really interesting player to watch. His arms are ridiculous.
It's nice seeing a Knicks team that competes.

Let's not win TOO many games here though.
With this win, the Knicks are showing

that they know how to fuck up everything, right down to the first pick in the draft.

I get that, but Fish is a rookie coach and you can bet that all the losses have his blood pressure sky-high. I don't think he is buying into tanking - even if it's smart in the long run - I think he wants to prove his coaching chops.
The Knicks are at risk...

of moving up as high as fifth worst. The Lakers are 1-9 in their last 10, and no Kobe. Hopefully the Kicks shut Melo down after the all-star game, which would limit their wins and let Melo fully heal by the 2015-16 training camp.

Interestingly, though, both Minnesota and Philly had strong wins tonight, keeping positioning in the Okafor bowl intact.
Great night for my fantasy team

I have both Melo and Galloway, and Kyrie Irving who went off for 55...
Galloway has that special intangible of a great player

I don't know how good he will end up actually being but he has that clutch gene for sure. He seems like a real winner I really like him a lot.
i know wins arent what we are shooting for...

but that was a fun game. Galloway is fun to watch, no idea if he is just a flash in the pan (prolly) but i really like his game. Thomas also has been impressive, he doesnt jump off the screen at all, but puts together very solid games.

Def need to shut Melo down after the all star break. Give his minutes to Early.
One of the good things...

is that Galloway is a clear high-character type, an anti-JR Smith, as it were. From Wiki, while at St. Josephs:

Quote:
In his junior season, he was named to the inaugural All-State NABC Good Works Team for his community involvement while also being named to the All-Big 5 second team. ...

In his senior season, he was named to the All-Atlantic 10 first team, All-Big 5 first team, NABC All-District 4 first team, and the Atlantic 10 All-Championship team for the conference champion Hawks. He was also co-recipient of the John P. Hilferty Award as SJU's MVP, earning Most Valuable honors for the third time. In 34 games, he averaged 17.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.1 steals in 36.2 minutes per game. Galloway finished his college career as the second all-time leading scorer in Hawk history (after Jameer Nelson) with 1,991 points, as well as the all-time leader in career three-pointers with 343.

And, I don't see why what he has done so far isn't replicable. He will always be a long-armed rebounding guard with decent jumping ability but not off-the-charts athleticism, who can play better defense than any other recent Knick guard, (albeit not great). He came into the league knowing how to shoot. And he clearly has picked up the intricacies of the triangle as fast as just about anyone on the team. And, in the triangle, he appears to be closer to a true pg than the combo guard we were expecting, because his handle is better. He is directing other players to where they belong on the floor in the triangle. Probably a career backup, but a much better one than we have had in recent years, given the whole package.
