- Arli$$, I think I'm in the minority here but I always thought this show was pretty funny. Sort of surprised nobody has attempted a reboot or even bringing the show back given how sports finances and coverage have blown up. Wuhl also has 2 funny specials on HBO where he teaches NYU history classes. HBO has a sports related comedy starring the Rock coming on soon but it sounds closer to Entourage with sports.
- Life & Times of Tim- Really funny off-beat cartoon. More of a cult thing but everyone I know who watched it enjoyed it.
-Clark and Michael (this was a web series but Clark and Michael starred Clark Duke from The Office and Hot Tub Time Machine and Michael Cera and it was very funny)
-Not underrated but for me the funniest show on television right now is "Broad City"
What else ya got?
As a kid I loved The Critic. I thought it was too clever to e a cartoon. Now with so many more stations I think it would've worked well today.
I agree with Episodes.
I never literally laugh out loud watching TV except for occasionally when Raffi is in the episode of the League and during the show Episodes.
Matt Leblanc is absolutely hilarious - he's literally playing himself, but the writing and his delivery are perfect.

That's a lot of literallys maybe I'm channeling my inner Rob Lowe from Parks and Rec - also a good show.
+1. Aachem.

Good thing a reboot with Matthew Perry and Thomas Lennon will be on soon! (I agree by the way)
Classic
Speaking of Eric Andre, I suggest EVERYONE watch Man Seeking Woman on FXX. It's nice to see there's still creativity on television.

The comedy community is pretty small and Hannibal Burress quietly is one of the biggest/most connected people in comedy so I'm not surprised they would be able to land Chris Rock. Also, Hannibal was just on tour with Louis CK... who used to be head writer for... Chris Rock.
Life and Times of Tim was sad to see go - especially since it was canceled, then they said it was coming back, and then it just vanished. Same with Better Off Ted - much worse has stuck around for a lot longer (looking at you, Jim Belushi and Tim Allen).
But of all mentioned, I think The Odd Couple probably takes it. Those episodes have stood the test of time very well. OK, so there's a ton of outdated cultural references (and cameos by people that few watching today would recognize), but the writing and the casting in that one was perfect. They did an awesome job of following up the play and the movie.
Hard to get good comedy these days - nothing on TV that really screams 'keeper' at the moment. Some good stuff, without a doubt, but nothing that you think might one day be considered classic.

It's somewhat of a guilty pleasure. It kinda shocked me that Chris Rock was in the last episode but I watch every week.

Yeah, I remember when Louis CK wrote for the Chris Rock Show. I miss that show. I'd add it to the list but it was very well received winning several awards in its short run.
Ray - We recently got my dad to quit smoking. He's using that stuff....what's it called?
Dr. Katz - The patch?
Ray - No, that's not it....you know, the thing...
Dr. Katz - Nicotine gum?
Ray - No....wait, heroin! That's it! Yeah, he loves it, now he doesn't smoke at all anymore.

Life and Times of Tim actually DID come back, but then was canceled again. Sort of like The Birthday Boys (another underrated show).
If you can handle a little stupid humor, and more importantly if you watch/are familiar with reality TV, Kroll Show is incredibly. If you aren't familiar with the formats and archetypes they are making fun of, it just comes off as idiotic - but if you get the references, it's gold.
Growing up, I always thought Clerks the Cartoon was pretty funny. Never really took off however.
I love stand up and Anthony Jeselnik is one of my favorites, so I got some good laughs out of Jeselnik Offensive even though it isn't really a serialized comedy show.
I've heard Freaks and Geeks is incredible.
Perhaps underappreciated with at least the younger crowd.
