NFT: Comcast employee changes name on bill to an obscenity

Bake54 : 1/29/2015 11:26 am
After a discussion with customers Lisa and Ricardo Brown, a Comcast customer service employee changed the name on the bill to Asshole Brown.

When Lisa Brown got the bill and tried to correct the name, she was met with resistance so she turned it over to a consumer advocacy writer, Christopher Elliott who writes a blog elliott.org. Now the whole thing has gone viral.

Comcast has apologized but the damage has been done.

We will only pay for content and not be held hostage by the content ptovider.

SlingTV is just the beginning, and once it gets going, it will go fast. It will be fun to watch.

I'm gonna call TWC

This day is coming but it's not going to be any cheaper for us. If you want to watch sports you're going to pay out the ass for that. The people who will benefit are the ones that watch very little sports

who kinda likes Comcast? They keep doubling my internet speed with no rate increases or even mention -- all of the sudden it'll just be at 120 mbps. And I never have an outage.

To this day they can't tell me why they turned a closed account with a zero balance and all equipment returned over to collections. Another time they wouldn't support equipment they supplied me and then tried to sell me some IT support service from the Far East. The other day they sent me a bill for services never provided. Worst customer service since SiriusXM

You're still going to have to pay Comcast or whoever for Internet access. And the cost to provide that will escalate significantly if everyone starts streaming everything, as they will have to increase the available bandwidth massively.

Also, the cost of content will be significant, especially for sports viewers.
I had OnStar call me Superman for the first year of having it

Nothing funnier then calling the OnStar concierge and having them respond with: "How may we help Mr Superman?"
