Here's a small mock , which aligns more with need , then anything else. Very unlikely to happen, but let's have fun with it.
RD 1. OT Collins LSU. Tough , physical can play OG/OT. Would be an instant upgrade to OL. Put your best 5 out there and go do some damage.
RD 2. DT Davis Iowa. He blew up the senior bowl game. Man does he look like he was born to play in the 4-3. Our soft of the middle days are winding down with Davis and Hankins locking down the middle. Good luck Dallas next year. Actually if Malcolm Brown is there take him instead, but he's probably gone.
RD 3. S - Tartt Samford Just like Baseball. You need to be strong up the middle. But hey it's the 3rd rd! It's time after 2 fan favorite picks to do something unexpected. Let's over draft accordingly to the common fan and draft guide and pick this guy. He's small school. But we do know the NYG talked to him at the senior bowl. He is generally considered one of the top small school prospects and he probably was a team captain.
RD 4. LB Kendricks UCLA. In classic NYG draft fashion after everyone threw the remote after RD 3, in RD 4 Kendricks is still there. Giants fans are estatic with this pick and would just be happy if the RD3 and RD4 had been flip-flopped in the first place.
Giants fans rejoice and renew season tickets before the rest of the draft continues.
Collins, Davis, and Tartt would all be solid selections where you have them and would address positions of need. I'd take Kendricks over Davis and hope he fell to the 3rd (probably not going to happen but there's a chance).
