I'm going with a

low scoring game. Maybe 20-17 or 21-13, something along those lines. (over/under is 47.5)
Pulling for Seattle; I just need to see Brady on the losing end again.

And I'll be shocked if Sherman misses this game.
Pats 27
SanFranNowNCGiantsFan : 1/31/2015 3:48 pm : link
Seahawks 23. Blount has a big game & wins MVP. Wilson throws a late pick that clinches the title for NE.
I"m just happy that

neither the Eagles or the Cowboys are playing in the Super Bowl.

They sure seemed like the top candidates in the middle of the season
Far from a Seattle fan, but
Big Blue '56 : 1/31/2015 4:15 pm : link
anything to bring Brady's championship-less streak to 10
Patriots to be Remembered as 0-3

in their last three super bowl appearances.
Go Pats!!

I fear Pats win

in a blowout, because Wilson was exposed by GB, and the Patriots want to a) emphatically prove they are the best, and b) pun unintended, take the air out of the deflategate situation( especially given the possible, again, rogue employee).
That said, GO SEAHAWKS!
goliath vs. goliath
Osix_ : 1/31/2015 9:02 pm : link
the best team of the past 15 years vs. the best team of the past 2 years. Extended Dynasty vs. Back-to-Back.

But unfortunately goliath vs. goliath rarely results in classic matchups. Last year's Super Bowl was a good example, for some reason one of the "goliaths" usually gets exposed unexpectedly in the Super Bowl.

This one feels different though. I can't see the Patriots getting blown out in this one like the Broncos were last year. And the Seahawks are really good but I still wouldn't call them dominant right now.

I think the Pats win. 31-24. Brady MVP, Gronk Most Dominant. Seattle pass rush just not good enough with the secondary banged up.
Lombardi trophy should be bigger

is anyone else aside from me
santacruzom : 1/31/2015 10:37 pm : link
not terribly committed to watching it? I might, but it's going to be in the low 70's here tomorrow and I just don't know that I want to disrupt a glorious day by watching a game that isn't terribly intriguing to me, sandwiched around an annoying You-Go-Girl Rock act.
well
spike : 1/31/2015 11:26 pm : link
its going to be like 20 degrees in NYC, so there is not much else to do here
Fuck the seahawks
Giants4246 : 2/1/2015 6:33 am : link
Pats can't hang enough points on those assholes.

Disrupt a glorious day? Wtf? It's the freaking Super Bowl. Living in California, you get near perfect weather all year long. Nice weather is no big deal for you. Now, if you lived in NY, and it was in the 70's today....

I don't blame you for being less than intrigued with the game, and if you don't want to watch, so be it. But to not watch the Super Bowl because it's nice outside? In California? There's only one SB every year. There's 350 days of nice weather in Cali. Or more.

arrive late, the plane's wheels were underinflated. lol. Go Seahawks. Bill Belicheat is a jackass.
It would be great if
Zebra3 : 2/1/2015 7:49 am : link
Brady got knocked out of the game. Belacheat would be screwed.
Honestly, I'll enjoy the game but

tomorrow will be the start of our 2015 season. A month until FA & an eternity until the draft! Looking forward to going forward!

I turn to Henry Kissinger for this one:

It's a shame that they can't both lose.

I'll always root for Belichick. Fuck Seattle.
Victor in CT : 2/1/2015 8:44 am : link
That's all I've got to say about that.
Fuck 'me both.
Crispino : 2/1/2015 9:46 am : link
I won't know until I start watching which one I hate less.

I'll go 27-24 New England.

Belichik takes away beast mode and makes Wilson have to beat them;
jsuds : 2/1/2015 10:30 am : link
He won't.

Pats 27 Seahawks 10.
I'm curious to see
BobOnLI : 2/1/2015 11:09 am : link
how many, if any, fumbles the Pats have. More than one and all the talk will be about the footballs.
Look for a Seattle win...
Jimmy Googs : 2/1/2015 11:15 am : link
with total points scored between 31-40;
Lynch held under 85 yards;
Gronk scores a TD;
and one of the teams with exactly 16 points.

Because those are my 5 Superbowl bets after being in Vegas this week.
Lets go Pats!!
Tuckrule : 2/1/2015 1:50 pm : link
Pats 27 Seahawks 21

Brady MVP, lynch held to under 85 rushing yards, Gronk grabs a TD
Here's what I imagine
Bramton1 : 2/1/2015 2:01 pm : link
Patriots win the game. Brady and Belichick are on stage getting the trophy. Music breaks out. J.R. Ross shouts out, "My God, that's Eli Manning's music!" Eli pops up on stage, hits Brady and Belichick with a metal chair, celebrates on stage.

Giants wins Super Bowl 50.
WTF is Johny Weir wearing
jgambrosio : 2/1/2015 2:10 pm : link
and why is he doing Super Bowl pregame?
If they are going to have Johnny Weir on
SomeFan : 2/1/2015 3:45 pm : link
They have to have him interview 1. Gronk and 2. Marshawn Lynch
Not that I care much
bceagle05 : 2/1/2015 4:15 pm : link
but Brady didn't help himself with that Costas interview. Refused to just say he had nothing to do with it.
Carroll Vs. Belichick

Seahawks 23 Patriots 20
Trainmaster : 2/1/2015 5:31 pm : link
I think Lil' Bill tries to take the Seattle running game away by mostly playing 8 in the box, relying on Revis and Browner to shut down the Seattle WRs, daring Wilson to beat them.

After a bad week last week, I see Wilson rebounding to have a solid, not outstanding game, extending passing plays scrambling beyond the LOS with his legs, plus getting some key yardage running the ball.

The Patriots will try a lot of trickery, but I think Seattle can "man up" on the Patriots WRs, TE and RB IF Thomas, Sherman and Chancellor are reasonably healthy (if not, it will be long afternoon for them).

A key is Seattle being able to stop the run with only 7 in the box. IF they can, Brady's targets should be mostly covered. IF the above happens, I see Seattle getting 3 or 4 key coverage sacks and 5 or 6 overall. This may be the key to the game.

I think the over/under is around 46. I'd bet the under.

It will be funny to read this in 5 hours or so; I'll probably have been completely wrong.
go Hawks
