low scoring game. Maybe 20-17 or 21-13, something along those lines. (over/under is 47.5)
Pulling for Seattle; I just need to see Brady on the losing end again.
in a blowout, because Wilson was exposed by GB, and the Patriots want to a) emphatically prove they are the best, and b) pun unintended, take the air out of the deflategate situation( especially given the possible, again, rogue employee).
That said, GO SEAHAWKS!
the best team of the past 15 years vs. the best team of the past 2 years. Extended Dynasty vs. Back-to-Back.
But unfortunately goliath vs. goliath rarely results in classic matchups. Last year's Super Bowl was a good example, for some reason one of the "goliaths" usually gets exposed unexpectedly in the Super Bowl.
This one feels different though. I can't see the Patriots getting blown out in this one like the Broncos were last year. And the Seahawks are really good but I still wouldn't call them dominant right now.
I think the Pats win. 31-24. Brady MVP, Gronk Most Dominant. Seattle pass rush just not good enough with the secondary banged up.
not terribly committed to watching it? I might, but it's going to be in the low 70's here tomorrow and I just don't know that I want to disrupt a glorious day by watching a game that isn't terribly intriguing to me, sandwiched around an annoying You-Go-Girl Rock act.

Disrupt a glorious day? Wtf? It's the freaking Super Bowl. Living in California, you get near perfect weather all year long. Nice weather is no big deal for you. Now, if you lived in NY, and it was in the 70's today....
I don't blame you for being less than intrigued with the game, and if you don't want to watch, so be it. But to not watch the Super Bowl because it's nice outside? In California? There's only one SB every year. There's 350 days of nice weather in Cali. Or more.
Patriots win the game. Brady and Belichick are on stage getting the trophy. Music breaks out. J.R. Ross shouts out, "My God, that's Eli Manning's music!" Eli pops up on stage, hits Brady and Belichick with a metal chair, celebrates on stage.
I think Lil' Bill tries to take the Seattle running game away by mostly playing 8 in the box, relying on Revis and Browner to shut down the Seattle WRs, daring Wilson to beat them.
After a bad week last week, I see Wilson rebounding to have a solid, not outstanding game, extending passing plays scrambling beyond the LOS with his legs, plus getting some key yardage running the ball.
The Patriots will try a lot of trickery, but I think Seattle can "man up" on the Patriots WRs, TE and RB IF Thomas, Sherman and Chancellor are reasonably healthy (if not, it will be long afternoon for them).
A key is Seattle being able to stop the run with only 7 in the box. IF they can, Brady's targets should be mostly covered. IF the above happens, I see Seattle getting 3 or 4 key coverage sacks and 5 or 6 overall. This may be the key to the game.
I think the over/under is around 46. I'd bet the under.
It will be funny to read this in 5 hours or so; I'll probably have been completely wrong.

And I'll be shocked if Sherman misses this game.
They sure seemed like the top candidates in the middle of the season

It's a shame that they can't both lose.
I'll go 27-24 New England.
Pats 27 Seahawks 10.
Lynch held under 85 yards;
Gronk scores a TD;
and one of the teams with exactly 16 points.
Because those are my 5 Superbowl bets after being in Vegas this week.
Brady MVP, lynch held to under 85 rushing yards, Gronk grabs a TD
Giants wins Super Bowl 50.
