Well deserved with those stats. Watt was great, but no way you can give it to him over a guy with 38 TDs and 5 INTs.
Totally agree

Romo was equal or better then Rodgers in almost all catergories.
Rodgers: 314 of 520 completion% 65.6, 4381 yards, 8.43 YPA, 38 TDs, 5 INTs, QB rating 112.2, 13 wins, 5 losses.
Romo: 304 of 435 completion% 69.9, 3705 yards, 8.52 YPA, 34 TDs, 9 INTs, QB rating 113.2, 13 wins, 4 losses.
Post season
Rodgers: 43 of 69 completion% 62.3, 494 yards, 7.16 YPA 4 TDs, 2 INTs, QB rating 91.1, 1 win, 1 loss.
Romo: 34 of 50 completion% 68.0, 484 yards, 9.68 YPA, 4 TDs, 0 INTs, QB rating 125.8, 1 win, 1 loss.
I would have given it to Romo..

Btw, Eli should have run away with the award in 2011, imo

Is that the Packers have the best pass-blocking guard tandem in the league - Sitton and Lang are both walls in pass-pro.
Rodgers benefits tremendously from those guys keeping a firm inside pocket. Rodgers has a ton of pocket space up the middle and lots of time to throw.
Even against Seattle there were numerous plays where he had all day to throw.
Great guards like Sitton and Lang don't get enough credit.

Umm, Romo's OL wasn't exactly a bunch of slackers...

Well, given that Romo has the best RB in the league behind him, I would hope he would put up some pretty good numbers.
Lacy is no slouch, but nobody opened up the passing game for a team this year like Murray did...
I thought either Romo or Rodgers deserved it
