NFT: HBO Greenlights ‘Lewis and Clark’ Miniseries

This was a good book. I am looking forward to this mini-series I have always found Lewis & Clark interesting. It has been years since I read the book so I might have to dust if off and try to re-read it before this comes out.

Funny thought of mine, I have often thought I would love it if someone would make an open ended type X-box game of their journeys but knew the story probably wouldn't be of interest. Maybe I'll get lucky and this will change that.

Based on the book “Undaunted Courage,” by Stephen E. Ambrose, the six-hour historical drama follows the journey of the Corps of Discovery and its captains, Lewis and Clark, on their mission to deliver President Thomas Jefferson’s message of sovereignty, as they search for his fabled all-water route to the Pacific. “Lewis and Clark” tells the story of America’s first contact with the land and native tribes of the country west of the Mississippi River.

I love the book too Steve.

This could be good.

By coincidence. Has the potential to be a good mini series

read it last year. The book gave you just great details of the Native Americans at that time and the massive amounts of wildlife that was around back then. Was unaware of the relationship between Lewis and Jefferson. I highly recommend the book if your interest is early US history. Well researched.

I totally misread, and I thought History channel was doing it, I hated the recent american revolution one on the history channel.

I liked the first episode, but the rest of it was garbage. they crammed so much in to so short a period it was pretty bad. Not enough battles either. I thought it had such promise.
