Mock draft using fanspeak

DavidinBMNY : 2/1/2015 7:16 am
Here is the simulation I ran today which assumes that in free agency they a address LB.

9: R1P9
OT LA’EL COLLINS
LSU
40: R2P8
S DERRON SMITH
FRESNO STATE
74: R3P10
DT MALCOLM BROWN
TEXAS
105: R4P9
RB JOSH ROBINSON
MISSISSIPPI STATE
136: R5P8
DE ZADARIUS SMITH
KENTUCKY

I don't know if brown or smith will be there but that is where the draft board had them...
First pick.com is better.

Nick draft. There are so many good RB in this draft it seems impossible to not select one in a mock

Who knows? I agree with Peat at #9, if we trade down with Houston, Landon Collins SS is my pick at #16. I can't believe the Giants would spend a 1st and a 4th round pick on OT's or a 3rd on a RB. Too many other needs like ILB or S in the 3rd.
1 (9) Andrus Peat OT
2 Arik Armstead DE
3 Denzel Perriman ILB
4 Clayton Geathers S
5 Eric Rowe CB
6 Christian Lombard OG
7 Marcus Murphy RB
Thanks guys

Glad there are no trade down drafts here. IMO - Anyone who does a draft with a trade down is wasting all our time. Seeing who is there at various points in the draft is useful and interesting.
reale01: True, trade-down mocks are a waste of time...

...but the First-Pick.com simulator sure is fun.

Your score is: 5818 (GRADE: A)
Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 21 (CINN): Landon Collins, SS, Alabama (A)
Round 2 Pick 8: Cameron Erving, OT/OG, Florida State (A)
Round 2 Pick 21 (CINN): Benardrick McKinney, ILB, Mississippi State (A)
Round 3 Pick 10: Jaelen Strong, WR, Arizona State (A)
Round 3 Pick 21 (CINN): Gerod Holliman, FS, Louisville (A)
Round 4 Pick 9: Preston Smith, DE, Mississippi State (A)
Round 5 Pick 8: Kaleb Eulls, DT, Mississippi State (A)
Round 6 Pick 10: Martrell Spaight, OLB, Arkansas (A)
Round 7 Pick 9: Matt Jones, RB, Florida (A)
Round 7 Pick 27: Conner Neighbors, FB, LSU (A)

The main problem is that the trade-down opportunities are often overly generous. But there's still a real-world lesson: with such a thin roster, the Giants could use some extra picks.
