I'll go with J.D. Walton unless he accepts a paycut. I also wouldn't be surprised if they cut Corey Washington. He was inactive in week 17 and some believe it was for comments he had made earlier in the week. Call me crazy but the Giants might not want to deal with his antics.
JD has gotta go though.
Anyway, there are two slightly different types of cap casualities:
1) Guys who might be cut because they have roster bonuses coming, e.g.
J.D. Walton
Jon Beason (although IIRC the timing of his payments is odd)
Robert Ayers
Trumaine McBride
Josh Brown (unlikely)
Jameel McClain (very unlikely)
2) Guys who might be cut to clear cap space because their salaries are too high.
Kiwanuka was in this category. I guess Steve Weatherford is too. Walton and Beason are probably in both. But really, the Giants don't have many overpaid players who are easy to cut. Beatty and Cruz are likely safe for another year, if only because of dead-money considerations. (Not that they would cut Cruz anyway.)
Peyton Hillis (870K)
Adrien Robinson (660K)
Jayron Hosley (660k)
Possible
Jon Beason (3.6m)
J.D. Walton (2.2m)
Geoff Schwartz (3.6m)
Rolle will be indignant about the offer the Giants make him to put off checking into a nursing home.

Adrien Robinson (660K)
Jayron Hosley (660k)

Jon Beason (3.6m)
J.D. Walton (2.2m)
Geoff Schwartz (3.6m)
Robinson is not going to get cut. He was seeing more snaps towards the end of the season, and was getting reps in goalline packages. There's zero chance of Schwartz getting released.

I don't think he'll be cut, but his most snaps were week 4 against the Redskins (15).
The last two weeks of the season he was out there for 7 and 4 snaps respectively
Hillis is a good guess.
Ayers was arguably their best defensive lineman last year. he's not going to be cut.
Walton will probably go; they now have Richburg and Jones to compete at Center.
Robinson probably doesn't get cut now, but he better have a mighty good camp to make the 53. If what we saw last year was his best, his roster spot could go to someone with more upside.
Cutting Hillis would bump a second-year player with a $510K salary into the top 51, so I think the immediate cap savings would be a little over $400K. Not a fortune, but there isn't much downside to doing it if he's unlikely to make the team.
Anyone need Powerball numbers?
Hillis released. - ( New Window )
The fact that Adrien Robinson saw specs time as well as having a couple of TD's leads me to believe he is at least getting a shot to hang on.
