Says he knows what's on it also, but not sure when or if it will be released. At first I didn't believe there was actually a video. Schefter has a ton of sources though. It has to be real. I wonder what is on it and if it is truly 5x worse then the Ray Rice tape.
Sorry busy at work. No link as I read it on Twitter.

He slapped her with his cap.
As long as that video is exclusive to Bryants former crony, it has value. Soon as it's released,or seized, it's worthless. the guy wants to cash out, whether he burns Bryant or not, I don't think he cares.I'm sure he'd be quite fine selling the only copy to Bryant for the right price, and then moving to a beach somewhere.
Several things in play here. First and foremost is the fact that his former agency is not naive to the law, and is not going to expose themselves to prosecution for blackmail, so they no doubt have a plan to release the video that protects them legally from extortion charges. At the very least they are trying to find a way to do that, at least to the extent that if it ever goes to trial there can be reasonable doubt as to whether the video as released intentionally.
I think it's safe to assume if hush money was paid to conceal the video, that the victim was likewise paid, and would expose herself to charges should she now go public. I have no doubt that an experienced agency with legal staff made sure she signed whatever releases from indemnity and prosecution they needed to keep her quiet. they didn't just pay someone and roll the dice she would be quiet. same thing with Dez cronies who sold the tape. So you won't ever hear from the victim, or the guy who made the video. They have already been paid. They open their mouths they can be sued, and they'd lose in court, whatever else happens, and they know it.
It was probably handled by the agency in the first place and not by bryant personally because bryant himself is no lawyer, and didn't know how to construct such deals without ensuring the aforementioned parties would never go public.
In the aftermath of this, Bryant, who probably paid out the ass to the victim, and his cronies, then his agency, gets pissed his agency is making out like bandits for services provided, then goes to Jay Z's agency , who can't do shit, except pay more money than Bryant's original agency was charging in the first place, as I'm sure their "rate" has gone up since he left their representation. Some stills are released to prove to bryant and his party that former agency is serious about releasing the video if they arent paid.
Noone in the media can say shit, because if the tape isn't released, or Bryant turns out to be the highest bidder, whoever says anything is exposed to a slander or libel suit.
This is how, and why, something like this can stay quiet, and how someone like shefter can say "It may never be released."Shefter himself said he expects Bryant to be in Dallas next year. That means he thinks, in the end, Bryant is going to pay, He has no choice, really.
When other sources say his current agency is "Brainwashing him" what they really mean is they are telling him they aren't going to pay, and he shouldn't either.Which, in the end, may amount to career suicide. which this new agency may prefer to see, rather than being tied to a guy that, regardless of the profits he brings, isn't worth marrying and then getting dragged down with when it all goes tits up.
Sometimes, in jest there is truth..:)
Sure not the company but the guy making 9 dollars an hour at Walmart who is in charge of the videos would.
#Cowboys have known about this Dez Bryant incident for some time. They have taken particular interest in it.

This might be the dumbest thing I've ever read on BBI - and we're only a week or so removed from the Spock/Enoch thread. Congratulations on the "honor".
