And I know the Yes! Yes! Yes! thing can be mocked, or at a minimum thought to becorne corny, but I have to say this has been a completely organic thing this year and is an absolute tacit acknowledgment by the players that they hear and feel the fan support. They were the ones who decided to skate to center ice and salute the fans. I am not at all a wrestling guy, but I love this because it shows these players know they're amidst something special this year.

That said, while I curse the Isles luck at finally reeling off a great season in a year where the other top teams have gone nuclear, it sure has been, and should continue to be a very fun season. As I've said, I think whomever takes the East will have had to run such a gauntlet that I firmly believe the SCF winner is the East champ.
