The standings don't matter...you know the Philthy Phucks are gonna give the Rangers hell and goon it up if the beatdown begins. Fuck 'em right in the ear. Take two points from these orange-clad cuntrags and keep the train a rollin'.
Lets fucking go, boys
I'm sure he's a popular guy, so was Callahan (despite that weird "Drury mold" comment of yours).. The team will move on when/if a guy, any guy leaves.
The question is if the on ice product is improved in the deal, if he's dealt.
You don't know shit about the lockerrrom , so just stop it. unless you saw some you tube clips and turned that into an in depth scouting report on the inner workings of the Ranger room and the delicate balance that only Mats zuccarello can hold together..
And Stempniak is still a sled.
Again, did I not say Zucc took a big discount to remain a Ranger this year? He could've gotten more. So yeah, it's different. You can't expect him to keep taking discounts. 4.5 million is fair to the Rangers and to him. I wouldn't do 5.5, but I would still keep him around and then let him walk in the offseason. Poor asset management? Perhaps, but we're going for it this year.
And my perception of Zuccs popularity is not unwarranted. Aside from the Pat Leonard article calling him "probably the most popular Rangers player in the locker room," I see how Rangers (quite a few Rangers players) interact with him on social media. I see them doing off-ice activities with him during the summer like traveling through Europe. Hell, I think Zuccarello is living with Hagelin....OK, that's a bit stalkerish, but I think I read it somewhere.
And Stempniak sucks, but you compared his playing style to Powe and Rissmiller. They're not at all alike and Stempniak has had a significantly better NHL career than the other two.

Cunt.
'Nak here sure is reminding me of all the hard hitting analysis I'm missing..
Right because we all need your "shiny sucks, sandpaper is great, nice win, suck it Fish, slurp slurp slurp slurp" comments.
Well said. I fucking hate the cap.
Meanwhile, Tim Erixon was put on waivers.
Some things never change
So much for his "high floor, high ceiling" projection that many here and on Twitter were making when he was traded here.
Some things never change
Whatever that means
@zuccarello36: Congrats @mstlouis_26 on 1000 points in the nhl🌟🌟 im right behind u bud only 897p to go👍
Look at how he interacts with other players on social media. Fucking incredible.
He would've gotten more in arbitration. 59 points wouldn't net 3.5 in arbitration. He would've gotten more.
This year, it's Zuc

You wish you were short enough to ride this
This year, it's Zuc
What was it last year? That I wanted Callahan gone?

you pick someone or something about the Rangers that sets you off into an irrational tizzy that no amount of reasoning with you will change.

Hell, who can remember from year to year what it is that sets you off?

Clearly you, if you think I overreact year after year. I mean the only thing that I recall was the drafting of McIlrath, but that was in the offseason.
You realize Vermette is gonna have similar contract demands to Zucc. Otherwise, Vermette is just a rental.
Well, when you think of it, come back to me

You seem to miss the point.
The details don't matter.
The point is that every year, it's something that only you seem to have intimate foreknoweledge of the impending disaster that never comes.

Well, apparently I have no idea what you're talking about so I would like it if you gave me some examples...
Haha, ok then
Any interest in Tim Erixon off waivers? Or Rob Zepp as a backup to Talbot?
Talbot on Zucc: "Very instrumental in our winning attitude right now..a guy that has intangibles you cant really measure on or off the ice"

So we've proven that zucc did not "take a big discount" to stay.
Avoiding arbitration was not out of kindness.
And that last part is why it is impossible to respect any argument you bring to the table.
I said nothing about playing styles, I said adding sleds like Stempniak and Glass is the same rismillering of the roster. Wasting money on the bottom of the roster before even seeing if younger guys already in the system can do the jobs.
And now there's a cap crunch because of that rismillering.
Go watch Biggs on Canada.

Anak the Zanax.
At least he's consistent and sticks with one team.
What color is #TheDress they ask? Well, I know one thing for sure that the color of the Flyers dress they're going to be wearing tonight is black and blue. I have no worries and am 1000% confident the Rangers will beat down the Flyers tonight. Flyers had FIFTY shots on goal against the Leafs and still didn't win. No excuses.
As others have performed on BBI hockey threads in the past, in a mewl yowl; "Let's fucking go boys!"
I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt here, too.

Uh, yes he did. By signing a deal, both sides avoided arbitration. He would've gotten more in arbitration given his season (remember, he led the team in points). Hence, he did take a discount.
And it's not my fault you didn't make it clear. I'm paraphrasing but you said something along the lines of, "Stempniak is another Rissmiller and Powe." Yeah, Stempniak's 900K for one year is clearly killing the cap. Only you thought that was a bad deal. Hell, even if Glass signed for that kind of deal, it would make it more tolerable even though Glass sucks to high heaven (and you think Glass and Stempniak are in the same boat).
And who exactly would've been on our fourth line from within the system? A 4th line of Moore-Duclair and Fast? What happened to your "MORE GRIT" argument that you've been preaching about for years?
Go suck off Fish. SLURP SLURP SLURP
We just have to win again.
Also, soda man isn't hudson. He's a lot smarter.
I don't thin so.
SM is a dupe troll who goes away and comes back every 4 months or so.
This is the second time he's used soda man as his name.
It's only a matter of time before he's banned again.
First, the thought of his not returning this year makes me sick to my stomach - if he can't return this year, it means its possible he never returns.
But anyway, IF that were the case - why would that justify the Rangers making a trade? It means it would then be ok to make a sucky trade? If it was a good trade, then it wouldn't matter, right? So, this logic only applies if they make a sucky trade - and why would they do that under any circumstances? (other than Sather just being a prick?)
