As mentioned previously, He's a Million dollar talent but 10 cent brain. He apparently bombed his combine interviews too. My outside impression: stay away. very far away.
He's tall, but not nearly as fast. He could be more reminiscent of Plaxico Burress in regards to height, speed, or possibly character ( not necessarily talent). I've never seen the guy play, but he's reputed to be very raw with no idea of what's he's doing.
That makes him a developmental project. Due to his raw talent, he's likely to go in the second round. The Giants cannot afford to draft a player like this that early as he may not be able to play much until 3 years down the road. Too many dire needs on OL and DL and Safety. I would love to get him in the fourth round, but that isn't happening.
Getting arrested for weed twice within 15 months and pushing an 18 year old woman down a flight of stairs aren't 'kids' problems. This guy was arrested with a pound of weed with the intent to sell. 6'5" star WR in Missouri, the same state he plays in, selling weed. And what, no one was going to notice? Idiot. I don't want this guy anywhere near us.
he's a loser who isn't anywhere near as talented as Moss
Ahmad Bradshaw, Mario Manningham, Marvin Austin, Jayron Hosley, Damontre Moore, etc. etc. etc.
What's Moore's character problem? And which of those players shoved a woman down the stairs? Also you can't just use etc (much less three times) and get people to believe there's an endless list of examples supporting your position.
Don't rise to the level of Green-Beckham's idiocy. He won't be on the Giants' board, or a lot of other teams. And if he does find his way onto the field (in between suspensions), he will probably make a fair number of great plays. Doesn't mean we should entertain the thought of taking a player who is that self-destructive. This isn't Randy Moss or Ahmad Bradshaw character issues... this is Lawrence Phillips-level. I'd sooner take Josh Gordon or even Justin Blackmon before this guy.
Ahmad Bradshaw, Mario Manningham, Marvin Austin, Jayron Hosley, Damontre Moore, etc. etc. etc.
Said this in another thread, Giants don't mind
drafting players who have made mistakes, but have shown a willingness (via their interviews with the player and/or actions) to turn their life around. DGB does not strike me as that guy.
Giants typically don't draft Dez or DGB types. Guys who lack desire to mature and will likely be trouble, headaches and drama throughout their career.
Plax and AJ Green. I wouldn't take him in the first two rounds but if he were available in the 3rd I think you have to take that chance if the Giants haven't addressed WR in the first two rounds or free agency. Being in a great organization like the Giants would be very beneficial to DGB.

Giants have to at least get the impression he is willing to work on becoming a better person and realizes the errors in his behaviors. I haven't pyscho-analyzed DGB myself but my gut instinct on him is not encouraging.
I want him but no way Reese, the Maras or Coughlin sign off on him
If you watch him play throughout a game, not just highlights, you see an enormously talented player who only shows any interest in playing when he's the first read. Otherwise, he's generally uninvolved, often to the degree that he's just standing around watching the play. To me, that says he has no passion for the game, in short, he doesn't have heart. And I reached this opinion before being aware of the extent of his non-football problems. Now, combine his on-field attitude with his off-field habits.
Fast forward - Give this kid a lot of money, put him in blue, and let him run around in the world's most vicious media market.
that's it. Him and Green-Beckham were part of a cloning experiment. Hill actually escaped in 2011 and Green-Beckham was simply released from captivity.
Ahmad Bradshaw, Mario Manningham, Marvin Austin, Jayron Hosley, Damontre Moore, etc. etc. etc.

Well, the 3rd et cetera could take us back to Christian Peter.
Are we just going to forget the Giants spent all of last draft
I think the Giants want to avoid risks of ANY kind, whether that be character, health, intelligence, dedication, maturity, etc. So, No the Giants don't bite on this guy.
I'm just in awe of the way he moves on the field at his size.
6'5" -- 237 lbs -- 4.49 40 --- 6.89 3Cone
His fluidity at his size is cartoonish. It just shouldn't be possible a guy like him should move the way he does. It's the #1 thing that stands out when watching him play. He moves like a gazelle.
But he plays soft. He's 6'5" and 237lbs but he doesn't know how to take advantage of his size. He lets the ball get to his body a little too often and he's not nearly as strong as he should be at 237lbs.
I was higher on him a month ago but I'm still a fan of his game. I think despite the question marks on/off the field, he has a giant ceiling as a player because of his agility/deep speed at his size.
I wouldn't touch him at #9 but I'd be all over him at #40 if he's there and we didn't go WR round 1.
IMO, he's not getting past the Patriots' 1st round pick. He's exactly what the doctor ordered for them and you just know that he'll end up reaching his potential on that team with Brady as his QB. I just hope someone else, anyone else, takes him before the Patriots. The league could be in deep shit otherwise.

The only knock in some of those highlights, sometimes he doesn't catch the ball at its highest point.
He does have more talent but he's the type of character we almost always avoid.

Other than the fact that he's a criminal of course.

Popcorn!!!

Benjamin? Physically sure but it's a bad comparison This kid is more Josh Gordon. Trouble waiting to happen
