He's not going to play here this year unless there are injuries. He's also only on a 1 year deal so either we are planning on hanging onto him beyond that or this was just a straight salary dump to clear a little space.

He might play both ala Hayes. NHL.com lists him as a Center. No idea what his natural position is. I just remember he was a top draft pick 9 years ago.

He is a good skater.
He's a nice player... I just don't think he warranted 3 assets. I could see two - Moore + either Duclair or the 1st round pick... but not both.
Obviously we had to throw in the 3rd piece to make the deal actually work - eg Arizona paying for half of Yandle's salary cap hit.
Could have had Stralman AND Duclair and no Boyle, and now they overpay like a motherfucker for 18 months of an overrated offense-only defenseman.
