I know its only guys currently under contract, but you can see the lack of talent as a whole on the roster. Lot of work for Reese to do before September.
Like, LB and OL, you need to use free agency to fill those holes and then you have to bid for services in which time will tell if you have overpaid.
Beason has shown when healthy he is for real, same with Schwartz. Now can they stay healthy. Production should match compensation. That said, Beason needs to take a paycut.
which of that illustrious list would you trade Eli for straight up? Which of that list would you trade Eli for if they sweetened the deal with a 2nd rounder?
charts, he and Fitzpatrick were "only" average by this specific analysis/ranking, which is less than "good." Newton was only graded higher because of his rushing, for that matter.
There's nothing wrong with being ranked as good and being bunched with Flacco, Newton, and Tannehill (like he is in the "good" tier) isn't really absurd for what Eli is at this point or at least has been the past couple years in total. PFF is seemingly increasingly flawed, but this isn't a situation get up in arms over.
DeOssie being seen as that horrible, however... that might be.
Not the biggest PFF fan, but it accurately shows the holes on this team. If you look at the players in red, then we need an OL, DL, DB and LS. A Center who can long snap is something we have needed for a while. A S to replace Hosley would help the overall production of this team. Kuhn could be easily upgraded, as well as many on the DL. We all know OL is a priority. Three of these positions should be addressed in FA. Let the 3 Centers battle it out. Bring in a G, S and DT then we look alright on paper. Any other upgrades should come from the draft.

He is not Teddy Bridgewater, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Cam Newton, Andy Dalton according to PFF, who all rated higher than him last year.
Not one on my watch, that's which one.
