I'm about 30 miles north of DC in MD. We got 2 inches, but then sleet on top at noon, which now is a steady freezing rain. It's a hockey rink outside. Went to take the garbage pails to the curb, but they slid down my slightly angled driveway, about 35 feet, just fine on their own...followed by me wiping out trying to chase them. Morning commute should be interesting.
I was supposed to drive back to Maryland today, but that didn't seem like a good idea. So the parents get some more time with their grandson.
Eh, you could have done it. We left Monmouth County around 1 today and made it back to Howard County around 5. Roads were manageable. Traffic was mostly light (there was a traffic jam on a 3 mile stretch on 95 in Maryland that Waze routed us around).
Tuesday and Thursday but 50 degrees and rain all day wednesday smh I rather it rain Tuesday Wednesday Thursday and melt all this crap out of here it's annoying now. More snow last year but those were spread out a few weeks apart this year we get these annoying clippers two times a week it seems. Enough!!! Can't even keep a car clean for a day.
But it should get windy overnight which will help dry it out fast
