I checked your DL thread from last month, but didn't see him mentioned. In a thin DE class, he sticks out as a player who fits the NYG spec sheet: Length, speed, youth, etc. Not much sand in his pants; seems to have room for growth: bulked up to 252 for the Combine, and still ran a 4.57 40. (Skipped the agility drills, I think.) Is he a legit 4-3 DE prospect, or just another 'tweener?
In the third round, they will be getting a player that will come in and be as good or better than Kiwanuka. His work ethic is off the charts and will be a reliable play maker. Mr. Reese if he is available grab him in round 3. Round 2, if you can get an extra pick in the round.
Soolfacts: Isn't Blackson basically a one-technique DT?
Both are tough guys who push players around in the run game. Both have feet good enough to back up the tackle position, but not to start - certainly in day one. I think Collins feet are a little quicker than Scherff - but not a big difference.
Maybe. I'm not going to claim scouting prowess but I'm looking at those big outside LBs and think each and every one is a major risk.
I think Clem,Inge was his number 1 OT precombine
2. Jalen Collins, CB, LSU
3. Danielle Hunter, DE, LSU
4. Kwon Alexander LB, LSU
No draftable WRs from LSU this year. Maybe Terrence Magee in the 7th for RB depth?

That actually wouldn't be bad. Assuming they do something about safety in FA.
Collins is going to be my #1 OT in this class as well. And his teammate Jalen may finish as my top CB as well.
