I believe this is actually a woman, who borrowed her brother's ID on the premise that it was for some sort of art project. She has since apologized. He is very upset.
and disgraceful. I also don't believe it because this guy seemed to be very uncomfortable when getting grilled...like he didn't expect it. If it was an act, you would think he would have more of a prepared response.
But, I also wonder what made this person filming this question him in the first place? What is the tip? I know sometimes it's the uniform. Was that it, in this instance?
RE: I think the people that do this are despicable Â

Probably the fact that he was pretty well decorated for a first lieutenant who looked to be barely drinking age.
because they wear shit the wrong way, or at inappropriate times (for instance the Army wears its duty uniform off post, the Marines do not), and they run into folks who know how things are supposed to look. Or they'll be wearing decorations and/or rank that someone of their age/appearance/girth couldn't reasonably expect to obtain, like a semi-pubescent young man pretending to be an E-7.
Guardian of Valor ran an update to clear her supposed brother’s name after they corresponded with him (or so they thought), but soon after, more and more information kept coming to light. As it turns out, “Michael Cipriani” was not her brother at all, but was one of her alter egos. Kelsie Hoover is currently undergoing gender reassignment treatments, had previously tried legally changing her name to a man’s name, and she’s currently married to a woman. The college she lied about doing the project for denied she was a current student there.
Additionally, Hoover is a known con-artist that uses a wheelchair as part of her scams to make people think she is physically handicapped according to the tips the website received. Her wheelchair was present in the video at the airport.
The saddest thing about that dickhead is that he really was a Marine sergeant. How anyone could spend enough time in the Corps to make sergeant and think he could get away with that getup is astonishing. You'd think he at least could have pulled off a much more convincing con than pinning every award and device known to man to his size 64 dress blues, up to and including a SEAL trident.
is there a difference between someone who served and is wearing the wrong uniform, patches, etc. vs. someone who never served and is wearing a uniform to deceive people?
The only reason I'm asking is because a couple of those shots just look like someone who may have served and added stuff to their uniform. Would it be normal for a retired serviceman/woman to wear their uniform to a function?
I think it's actually a chick who looks like a dude. I looked for the story but couldn't find it.

And by real action figure, you mean a big squishy teddy bear wearing a cute Marine uniform with a bunch of flairs?
