Derek Newton didn't make the top 101?

That seems kind of weird. He's going to get more money than a lot of the has-beens on that list.

Agreed. And if junc is right he could be a Giant target.
Any list with Stevie brown on it is suspect

Didn't make CBS top 125.
Coach Mason: I might have been the first to talk up Newton on BBI.

Rest assured, I have exactly the same level of inside information as Area Junc.

Newton makes sense if the Giant see Pugh as a guard.

Prisco (CBS) has Barksdale at 37 and Newton at 43.

If Bryan Bulaga is a dented Escalade, Barksdale and Newton are Chevy pickups.

Again the key question is where the Giants want Pugh.

Maybe, but you don't refer to Coach Coughlin as "Tom," so that makes area junc better than you.
junc is one of our better football posters and I don't have

any idea how you could prove he doesn't have any inside knowledge.
Can you prove that he does?

.....
Chris r.: I can't prove a negative.

Not that one anyway. But in over a decade, I haven't seen any evidence to the contrary.

Didn't mean to open a debate about Area Junc's bona fides. I enjoy his act. But his opinion that the Giants will take a run at Derek Newton carries no more weight with me than any other fan's.

1. Ndamukong Suh, DT, Detroit Lions: Outside of quarterbacks and the two unanimous All-Pros (J.J. Watt, Rob Gronkowski), Suh and Odell Beckham are the two unique talents around whom we would most like to build a franchise. A double-team defeater against the run as well as the pass, Suh is on a Hall-of-Fame career path. Suh is likely to hit free agency after the Lions chose not to use the franchise tag on him.

Odell is reaching epic star status...as a 12 game rookie...fucking A
Are you shitting us with this?

At one time, Thomas claimed to have inside knowledge on the Bears and giants. He claimed he had some info on something that happened at halftime of a Giants-Bears game.

Not only did I find out his info was false, there wasn't even an incident to comment on. He pretty much backed off trying to appear as an insider (at least on Giants stuff) after that. He'd still try to pass Bears info off, but he didn't know that the Bears trainer is one of my good friends.

He should stick to learning to slide in rec softball games.
