Kick the tires on Lance Moore???

CBSGameFace : 3/3/2015 1:18 pm
I know BBI loves 'kick the tires' threads, but Lance Moore is an upgrade over our #3, #4 and #5 WRs.

He's a bit of a knucklehead with the celebrations and all, but he made a lot of plays for NO and seemed to get open a lot underneath, a la Cruz.

Do you see anything in him that says potential Giant? Could he be affordable Cruz insurance? I see him as a competitor and might thrive in McAdoo's system like a poor man's Cobb. A very poor man's Cobb.
#1-3 WRs are set

Assuming Cruz is healthy, you have Beckham, Cruz, and Randle set in stone.
No, thanks

Not needed
I wonder if

"Soup" and/or Corey Washington will serve a role. Then there is Preston Parker.

It's not just a question of if he is better than Parker.

He isn't going to contribute to ST as Parker does and he will cost more money. They have other areas to address in FA.

And there lies the ?, my friend. Nobody knows, and I mean nobody knows how Cruz will recover from this injury. Just because AP came back from his freak knee injury doesn't mean Cruz will. I know AP's was more devastating, but knees are funny that way. Ask Terrell Thomas.

Insurance for Cruz at the right price might be the right move....
Do you honestly want to spend a decent amount of cap space

on a WR?
Lance Moore probably isn't getting more than the vet min
YAJ2112 : 3/3/2015 1:59 pm : link
and I still wouldn't want him at that price.
I don't think he is an upgrade over Parker.

not at this point.
I watched a lot of Steelers games

Because I had Le'Veon on my fantasy team. He is nowhere near as good as Preston Parker. The guy can not get open anymore. Want nothing to do with him.

We tried

Herman Moore, but that was short lived. I think he contributed in 1 game.

To just assume Cruz is healthy and have no insurance policy except for randle to step in a be the 2 again is extremely unwise
I actually think

Parker has a chance to be a heck of a player for us. Lets not be quick to replace him until he's given more of a chance.
No! Think younger, faster, heathier, does he fit any of those?
