Dillon Gee VS Wandy Rodriguez!
Its been an especially long offseason Mets fans. Its been an even longer return to respectability. We may or may not make the playoffs this year but this team is expected to be good and to contend in 2015. We've waited years for this. It all starts against the Braves in Orlando. Let's GO Mets!
(Lineups to follow)

has a dominating trio of Harang, Jerome Williams, and Chad Billingsly.
is there anyone exciting to watch at Lehigh Valley this year?
Franco and Nola, if Nola starts there. He may make a few starts at Reading before going AAA. If Kelly Dugan makes it to AAA he is another. Long shot is Roman Quinn. Might make his way up there late in the year. Probably the fastest player in the minors.

but I could see him being decent for Atlanta. Other than Simmons & Freeman their every day players are pretty crappy.
Yeah but why bother with Markakis on a 4 year deal when 2015 is a total throwaway? Can find a similar guy when you are ready to compete.
At this point with the inflated prices in FA can you though? He got 11M a year through his age 34 season. He's certainly a much safer investment than the Chris Young's of the world, and I'd say there's a good chance he ends up being a better value than Granderson at 15M in his age 36 season. Again, don't love him as a player but I could see him being decent (700 OPS/good defense) and being a tradeable asset.
Rule V. Texas will undoubtedly take him back.
Won't be long before we find out it's fractured and Tejada gets his spot right back.
Grease up that Tulo rumor mill full speed again. Lol
Believe it was Tovar
Interesting if accurate. It would tell me 2 things. 1) That they really want to get a look at Reynolds at SS 2) They view Tovar (as I believe) as simply filler.
U.S. Virgin Islands native Akeel Morris with a perfect eighth. #Mets 8, #Braves 2, end 8
per Leathersich
The silver lining in his comments are that he would be open to investing in a relationship with a teammate, even if he "disagrees" with the lifestyle. It may not be perfect, but I do see him making an effort to reconcile his religious beliefs with his interpretation of the word lifestyle. It took me 32 years to fully accept my sexual orientation, so it would be hypocritical of me to not be patient with others.
4th
Flores, Tejada, Reynolds
Nimmo flies out
Puello strikes out swinging on an offspeed pitch
Reynolds singles through the left side
Monell flies to center
No if Flores went down permanently I would bet they would go to Reynolds. If Reynolds also went down for the year also I think they would EXPLORE Tovar depending on what he's doing. Nobody's giving Tovar shit based upon what he did last year. He would obviously have to be performing at that time but assuming he was, yes I think he would get a shot before we went to Tejada permanently again. We know what we have in Tejada and I'm guessing he's Sandy's last resort.
Satterwhite and Robles are sleepers to see CitiField this year, Pill has some backend/bullpen upside. Ynoa had an unimpressive season but still has 'fans" with some of the experts.
He and Mazzoni finished "hot". Mets clearly like Robles arm, clearly better suited for the pen. Bradford has a shot too. Thornton seemingly sucks given how little buzz the guy has lol
Gosselin hits an 0-2 hanger up the middle for a base hit
Terdoslavich GIDP 4-6-3
Eury Perez strikes out swinging
I was thinking the exact same thing
