This may be the day we've been waiting for. A Glass-less lineup.
Oddly enough, it comes at a time where he actually hasn't been dragging L4 down much and has had some solid shifts. That said, Sheppard is a better hockey player and we don't lose any size.
Very tough stretch here with DET, CHI, NYI and WSH coming up but the Rangers are good enough to keep rolling.
We don't get backups so Howard will be in net for them, Talbs will start tonight but we do have a couple of back to backs coming up. I'd assume Talbot plays the NYI/WSH.. maybe Ginger Skaps gets Buffalo again next Saturday.
Hopefully we get a good update on Lundqvist soon.

They have pills for that.
4th line didn't seem to get a ton of burn, but I already like this unit about 5x as much as the Glass/Stemp version
Fucking iron
Wouldn't surprise me at all if this wound up being the ECF.

The East is really tough this year, and you could make a case for any of the 8 teams currently in the playoff positions to get to the ECF (even Boston if they get right). If I had to guess we'll see a rematch from last year, except Carey Price (who is going to win the Hart) won't get hurt in Game 1
They're going to have to find ways to get a few more pucks in if they're going to make a run this year, IMO.. then again, if Price keeps it in this gear, I don't know how many goals are going to go against them anyway.
I think the Wings are almost a dark horse, though. I don't feel like they're talked about as much as some of the other EC teams in terms of how likely they are to make a run. This is a really, really good team they have now.
Hayes is rapidly becoming a presence, and that 3rd line really looks good.
