So much promise as a rookie when he hounded Mike Vick..no pun intended. I had high hopes but he couldn't stay consistently healthy. I wouldn't be shocked to Sean Witherspoon given a look.
Injuries hurt him

but even when he was on the field he never got better from his rookie year. Hell he was probably better as a rookie than he was at any other point.
I remember yelling a lot at him on my tv last year

Seemed to always be a couple of steps behind his opponent in coverage, despite his speed. Very frustrating player. Should have been Boley-like but never seemed to pan out.
the Giants are terrible

at developing Linebackers. I dont remember the last time they developed a NFL caliber Linebacker instead of FAs

Couldn't agree more yet there are some on this board who take such an assessment as an affront.

Reggie Torbor was NFL caliber for a little while.

For an actually GOOD LB, Jessie Armstead?
He was a terrible fit with Fewell

I think he could've been good under Spags who might have limited his decision making and let his athleticism take over.

yeah that was over 10 years ago.
After his rookie season,

I thought, the Giants finally hit on a linebacker in the draft.....unfortunately, that first season was his best....

The sad part of the linebacker situation is, over the years, there basically has been no one to beat out, and no matter who we drafted, they just couldn't step up and take over a job that basically was handed to them......it does seem to bring into question, who is drafting these linebackers....
I was so wrong

On williams and herzlich for that matter... Thought both guys would anchor the LBs... Williams looked good as a rookie.
The development aspect stinks

Maybe it's time to find a new LB coach.
he'd be a terrible fit

at linebacker in spags scheme. spags will use big downhill slobberknockers
He'll probably go to one of those teams...

...with a full rotation of their front-7 depth chart, make a few fluky plays because of the # of opportunities and his speed, and BBI will go into high-school-girl mode.
