From Mike Missanelli- Eagles radio guy - Yes the douche who celebrated on twitter when Cruz tore his Patella.
EAGLES GET:
#1 Pick & Mike Evans.
BUCS GET:
1-3 rounds '15 & '16, 1& 2 '17 & Nick Foles.
Yes that's their 1st and 2nd round picks EVERY YEAR UNTIL 2017 and a 3rd round pick this and next year AND Nick Foles.
Please jesus let's hope this is true that would cripple that franchise for a decade.

Chip has balls, I'll give him that.
Evans is a pretty good player and was a top #1 pick last year - he may be better than any WR available in the draft this year
"they only lose a #1 and 3#2s and 2 #3's to move up".
The ""only" here" just boggles the mind. And Evans would be the fifth or sixth receiver in the current draft lineup.
It really doesnt look like a good trade from either side. Lesser trade just for the pick makes a ton more sense.
Knowing what we now know about Evans, I think he'd be the first WR taken. 6'5, 1k yards and 12 TDs as a rookie with shit QBs. Any of these draftable WRs could easily be a bust.

Agree. I wasn't even that high on Evans going into the draft (I ranked him 3rd behind Watkins & OBJ), but he clearly showed that he was a really good player in his rookie year. At worst, I see him as the 3rd receiver (behind White & Cooper), but it's hard to go against a proven commodity, especially one that has more potential for growth.

There is not way in hell Evans only is the 5th or 6th best Wr prospect if in this year's draft, even before the year he had. He's an elite wr propect in any draft, right out of college.
Trading Evans would be whats most shocking to me. The pick is one thing, but to movr two premier assets in one trade would be pretty unprecedented.

It's like they traded up for 2 #1s so really they only lose a #1 and 3#2s and 2 #3's to move up

What?? Evans would easily be the #1 receiver in this class and it wouldn't even be close, I had him as my #1 WR last yer in what appears to be the best WR draft ever, and now knowing what he's already done in the nfl.. if he found a loop hole in the system that let him re enter the draft this year he would unquestionably be the #1 overall pick
Eagles don't trust the Jets to not take Mariota for themselves. Maccagnan nor Bowles have given a hint at what the Jets inclination regarding their needs and focus in the draft or off season. Very smart if you ask me.
With cap space on top of that
Evans is a pretty good player and was a top #1 pick
Gidie, ye it is still crazy. Giving up that many piks is INSANE unless your team just loves being together and all agree to never take a raise.
I'm convinced Chip might be the new Steve Spurrier. Game built for college, and a head that beloings on Napoleon
honestly, the source was enough before I even saw the deal. that guys a tool
Yeah....trade all that and have the guy sit.
1. The isn't Walker or Rickey Williams, this is a potential franchise QB and a WR that has proven he can put up big numbers in the NFL with a shitty QB, a very high ceiling player.
2. It is fair for both teams assuming the following is true. TB not sold on Winston or Mariota and the Eagles are 100% sold on MM. Keep in mind thinking that Chip Kelly is some kind of sentimental idiot is not a good assumption. He is in better shape to assess MM than anyone. I think the trade yesterday demonstrated he wanted Kiko Alonso but also that he has this big trade in mind. They have a ton of cap room to fill out the roster with reasonably priced FAs. Not to mention with MM and Evans under contract very cheap for the next 4 years they have a lot of money to spend to put a competent defense on the field.
3. I think this needs to be re-iterated. Chip Kelly is a football mind that I and many should respect very much. If he is THIS sold on MM that worries me much more than gives me some delight like he is being taken for a ride by TB.
4. I've done a rudimentary value chart analysis much to my surprise (not intentionally) it came out to be a very fair trade. I wouldn't be surprised if the parties were using similar assumptions to me.
Eagles get:
#1 Pick = 3,600
Mike Evans (with him i'm assuming that since he has proven himself but also a year into his rookie contract those factors sort of cancel each other out, what's more. I'd trade our #9 pick this year without hesitation for Evans) so i'm putting him at a #8 pick value = 1,400
Total = 4,400
Bucs get:
Three #1's: 850 for the 20th pick this year, you figure the Eagles might have growing pains but picks now are also worth more than picks later so i'm keeping the assumption at 850 for the next two years = 2,550
Three #2's same logic: 3 @ 280 = 1,140
Two #3's: 2 @ 170 = 340
Nick Foles: We don't have a ton of precedent here but the closest situation I can think of is AJ Feeley who was for a 2nd round pick. (A guy who played well but you wonder how much the system helped him) Take into account both sides have leverage, TB really needs to come out of this with a QB and the Eagles will have trouble trading Foles for value once they make this trade and I think another 2nd round pick seems fair = 380
Total = 4,410
This is not some stupid move by the Eagles, make no mistake about it. And if MM is everything Chip Kelly thinks he will be with the cap shape the Eagles are in and their traditionally excellent cap management they can build a team without those draft picks. I think those dancing on Chip Kelly's "future grave" very well might regret it.

Figgy? The Figgy? I miss you bro!
You supplement with free agency, and build thru the draft.
See what Dallas did to Minny back in the 90s.
The Eagles have a ton of openings and can't simply fill everything with FA's and non premium picks.
And, if Mariota was simply just average, or even worse a bust.......disaster.
He also got rid of some very respected guys who had some tread left. Also trading the best player on your team for one of your guys sends a message that Kelly will play favorites IMO this implodes. DCs have plenty of film and unless he can come up with a guy who canals defenses pause like McCoy that offense os going to fall apart. Lunch makes Russel Wilsoook better he he is. Who do the have now Sproles to be the full time guy? What a mess
I hope he wasn't having a stroke...
Evans is a pretty good player and was a top #1 pick last year - he may be better than any WR available in the draft this year
Yeah, but he didn't play at OU so forget it.
Tampa could be a power for a decade if they don't blow the picks
Thanks CiP for clarifying the facts of this.
