the cabin was, he becomes JJ Watt, fatcat overpaid football player. These guys can't win sometimes.

that's being humble and trying not to be showy, and he gets ridiculed for it. He earned it, he deserves it, and it's no one's business what he has.

A lot of guys who get real money lose some perspective. JJ Watt is no exception.

Compared to the Timex center or other places these guys usually train, yes it is no-frills and minimalistic

a three car garage in the middle of nowhere is not all that big of a deal.

And two of those kitchens are pieces of shit

Of course I do, but Deadspin gets on my nerves sometimes. Some of them try way too hard..

Anything that doesn't include a hot tub and pool is considered roughing it. And since there is no mention of a hot tub or pool in the article, I'm gonna assume the "cabin" doesn't have either.

Is it an Abe Lincoln or Little house on the Prairie log cabin? No. Is it really no frills? No. But, who the fuck cares? You want to pick on someone, go pick on some a-hole. The NFL has enough drug users, PED users, violent abusers, sexual predators, loudmouth jerks, etc. to target. Why can't they leave alone someone who, by all accounts is a genuinely nice person and also happens to be one of the best talents the league has seen in a generation?

But calling it no frills is obnoxious. It reminds me of when howard stern says he isn't as rich as people think or the guests on his show say the same. Just own it. Good for you.
