Glad the temperature warmed up just in time for you to get here.
yeah it was great timing. arrived in your neck of the woods on the 21st, temperature was in the high 70s after being 10 degrees cooler the previous day and generally cold that previous week...then we had basically sun and low 80s the rest of the time except for a torrential downpour in miami last saturday. it was a perfect respite from the winter and enough warm memories to get me through to spring.

Exactly. Most Florida jokes posted here are pretty weak...and we could make jokes about people from every state in the union pretty easily (I'm from CT - by all means, fire away)
But it's an amusing phenomenon the way some of our Florida natives here get their panties in a knot over some silly jokes

What's even funnier is that when it happens, it enforces that perceived NY area attitude that they are better than everyone.
Who the heck in that area can be proud of that Jersey shore series?
I grew up 25 miles from downtown Manhattan and cringed when that was on.
So did the many people from that area that I know.
Yep, the 2 governors of NY and NJ are something to be proud of.
When it comes down to it, everyone has their bruises.
So mets, it's not being offended, it's that a blind eye is turned to the same stuff happening in every state in the union every day.
