Right or wrong, this will impact the program....

and it will impact Boeheim's legacy. The fact that everyone knows Syracuse won the games doesn't change the fact that every time they talk about winningest coaches, they'll mention that Boeheim was among the leaders until he had 100 plus victories vacated for NCAA violations. I also think this will be used as a tool for negative recruiting by other schools. You can make book on that.

Bottom line is that this is not a big deal and it will not stop them from getting back into the upper echelon of teams starting next year.

I have little respect for the NCAA as it upholds the integrity of amateur collegiate athletics; in fact, that notion is a joke, as is NCAA impartiality. I have no axe to grind vs. Boeheim, and used to love the competitiveness that was Big East basketball.

But if these allegations are proved founded, I don't understand how your assessment on this comes down to whether the Orangemen get back into the upper echelon of teams beginning next year. If that's all that matters, are we to infer that you're arguing that Boeheim was doing right by his players, the team, the school, and the sport?
trash bag program. doing typical trash bag shit

Boeheim defending his players?

Sorry, but he routinely bashes his players in the post game press conferences. He said after the Georgia Tech game that if McCollough played badly it would be an improvement. Again, the Freshman had been struggling for 5-6 games ahead of that, but stating to the press that he was playing worse than bad accomplishes what exactly? I love what JB has done through the years for 'Cuse BBall, but this kind of commentary has been routine and is getting old. Seems like he could say the Chris McCollough needs to play better and that would suffice.
Oh look who it is

13th Grades finest garbage man who couldn't even graduate from that fuckin preschool for delinquents. Crawl back in your hole. You'd think getting tooken to school by anak and Fluffy you'd slink back into oblivion. The next sports related comment that you post that makes sense will be your first.

You peaked with your post 07 super bowl opus.
It also seemed pretty shitty not to give his senior walk-on some PT

At the end of the Virginia game, which was his last home game. It was 15 points with a minute to play, and we put in one of our walk-ons, plus BJ Stith who's been the last scholarship player off the bench this season. No reason not to give Sanderson a chance to play on Senior Day.

Maybe you should take over the team instead of one of the best coaches in history. You know so much.

He's never put in the walk ons when they're losing.
why not, though?

I understand that Sanderson was a Lipscomb transfer and there to learn to coach and so was not a four-year part of the program, but the game was over. Boeheim even conceded it when he pulled out Christmas with 15 seconds left (to get the proper ovation he deserved). It was Senior Night.
I don't know why

former player, I believe it was Lawrence Moten, giving his opinion on the situation. He made the point that the sanctions weren't fair because the investigation took so long to complete. His rationale was that the punishment wouldn't have been as harsh because the investigation wouldn't have considered the more recent violations.
Yikes.
