NFT: MLS Season Begins Tonight

I really don't keep up with individual players much, but I'll watch games if they're on TV and I don't have something else to do.

It'll be interesting to see how much Kaka has left.

Should be a good season as the quality of the players only keeps improving. A lot of the attention will go to the new teams, Toronto, and the traditional powers, but keep an eye on Columbus and Vancouver this year. These two teams have probably the best central midfield combos in the league. And each has a young player that may figure for the USMNT in the future.

Kekuta Manneh in Vancouver is a winger/striker with filthy skills. 20 years old from Gambia and still eligible for USMNT.

Wil Trapp in Columbus everyone knows by now, but you can't say enough about how good he is and can be in both MLS and USMNT. Thierry Henry wouldn't shut up about this kid after he played against him.

Besides the quality of the players, MLS does a great job of making the game available to fans. The web site/mobile app is great with providing highlights and analysis. Lots of good stuff there.

for a team to root for. Can't wait for NYCFC to take the field Sunday. Have tickets for the opening game at Yankee Stadium on the 15th and hope to take in more games over the summer.

I'm really excited for Trapp. Unfortunate that he had to play out of position in his only USMNT appearance, but he has a bright future.

I agree on the app/site as well. Probably the best mobile app out of all the major sports.
