are needed not bargains. The defense was soft last season and hopefully a new system will help that, but they just seem to be missing something like a LT or a Strahan.

Players like JD Walton, John Jerry, Charlie Brown need contracts too. Reese should wait it out, resist the urge to get a high priced high demand player and save a ton by carefully selecting from the "left over" free agent bin.

Another Strahan but, there will never be another LT! The man had personal problems but he was the best lb,the nfl ever saw.I truly hope they get a top notch defensive player with the 9th pick. But an lt in this draft there is not.

Usually one or two quick signings of "targeted priority players". This year it might be a safety, and an OL (Parker?, McCourty?). Then they wait until the smoke clears to fill in the rest.

Last year it was Schwartz and DRC.
