If say Cooper falls to us he would be hard to pass on. So that would obviously make us deep at WR.
Leaving Randle as the most tradeable asset which would could deal for a draft pick or possibly an Olineman.
Just an option if Cooper falls to us. Trades don't happen often, but they do happen and seem to be happening more now then in the past. So this maybe something Giant management may want to consider. I think the Giants like him, but they don't love him either and would be willing to deal him.
Just my take.

This. Thanks for pointing out the obvious for some of these folks.
I think drafting Cooper creates a matchup nightmare for defenses and it ensures that Cruz will not have push himself too hard in the early goings and is a great insurance policy if Beckham's hamstring acts up at all.
Yes, and one thing you can count on moving forward are the increase in points scored to win games. Vertical game does that and how many times have seen ourselves down 14 points with no hope of catching up with our running game.
It doesn't matter though. The Giants have no reason to trade their 2nd WR.
Agreed..your numbers may be a little high, with that said I can see a lot of 'BIG " plays coming his way this year. They also have no idea what is going to happen w/Cruz.

It's not that Randle is bad, but more that trades don't bring back great return for draft picks. Look at what Brandon Marshall went for (I know he had a big contract), or Percy Harvin.
Randle wouldn't really net more than a 6th, maybe a 5th if they're lucky. His value to the Giants is far higher.
All that considered, if you're another GM, especially for a team in contrntion looking for an immediate contributor with some upside, you'd probably be willing to talk trade for him after the top 7 or 8 WRs are off the board (likely around round 3).
That said, I don't think he's worth trading unless we draft a WR early and get a mid-high 3 in return.
That leaves Beckham, Randle and ?
Add a WR as the 9th pick of this draft and Randle is the biggest recipient. He would end up having a great, great year because defenses would be forced to essentially ignore him.
On the other hand, don't draft a WR and instead go with Beckham and Randle as the #1 and #2 receivers and the 3rd being less than what Randle is now - and the Giants passing game suddenly becomes much easier to cover (and in that scenario Randle returns to being a so-so receiver - in other words he just isn't talented enough to beat solid coverage - he needs to be playing against the 3rd and 4th defenders).

+1....bring us one of Cooper/White or Parker. All 3 are going to be excellent pro's and likely elevate the Giants to an elite passing offense. Come back with a plug and play OL at 40.
