What are the thoughts on this guy in the scouting community. I have been envisioning trade scenarios down to the middle of the first round and think he would really fit as a LG and eventual LT replacement. Watching youtube video of him, he looks so much like a young jason peter. Big, Wide, athletic, and mean.

The guys has great intangibles, and Mayock and Kiper both say he could be a pro bowl RT. I thought he did pretty well at the combine. He succeeded against great competition in the ACC, was a team captain, All American....I think he's everything you want, except he's just no an "elite" LT prospect.
I would be happy if the Giants took him #9, although some people would say its a real reach. You could the move Pugh to LG, and you have Flowers at RT for the next 10 years. That's my opinion.
He is as sloppy as inconsistent as it gets. I don't think he can play LT in the pros. Which is fine. Upside at RT is cool with me no matter where you pick in the draft...but even there I think he is a guy that will get eaten up badly at times. The athletic tools are there but he needs a lot of development...then he needs to show consistency. I don't think he helps a team until 2016 at earliest...and there are a handful of guys I like more both near and long term.
Jason Peters had a weird early career path, but yeah, I'd take the finished product.
Either way, tackle or guard, Flowers is one of my favorite players in the draft. I think he'll go in the top half of the 1st rd and in what is increasingly looking like a 'white' chip draft in my humble opinion he's one of very few players I'd take the gamble on potential at 9.
Ray is light in the britches and had a superb game against Flowers. Pass. La'el Collins is a better prospect, IMO.
Flowers will improve dramatically with coaching isn't led by a buffoon.
