because his precision route running can be lethal when paired with Beckham in this new offense. He really has no downside. White may have the higher ceiling but with Beckham on the team already I'm not sure the Giants would rate him higher than Cooper. Need to see more of Parker.
They are very similar in their styles of play but I like White's height and ability to attack the ball at its highest point. He can line up in the slot or out wide. He has that passion I love in receivers.
This is not a knock on Cooper. I think Cooper can do very well as well. I would not be disappointed with him at all. After seeing his numbers at the combine I think he can also play in the slot and also be used on reverses, etc.
Cooper has no weaknesses in his game either physical or technique
White is the big, explosive, physical complement to OB. Cooper is more similar to OB. Would be very happy with either player. I still think Parker will be outside the top 10.
and rightfully so but if both are gone , I'll restate the case for DeVante.
When I re-watched some of his tape it looks like he made great strides in his game this season.
Parker's numbers throughout his career have been excellent but this last year in only 6 games he had staggering numbers: 43 catches, 855 yards 19.9 YPC...extrapolate that over 13 games and you have 93 catches, 1852 yards and 11 tds (and that's with 3 different QBs not named Bridgewater throwing the ball to him).
I still think his route running at times is sloppy (which in a way is encouraging as it shows even more room for improvement) but he pretty much has the whole package: size, speed, strength, good hands, and large catching radius.
RE: Cooper has no weaknesses in his game either physical or technique
Reminds me of Sterling Sharpe. White and Parker have some polishing up to do with their routes and setting up defenders imo.
Cooper is a beast for sure but heard there was a large contingent of Raidahs at his pro-day and even hearing Chicago (was hoping they'd go D) loves him alot. With that said, don't know if he makes 9 anymore.
Than someone in front of the Giants will take him because everyone will want the next OBJ. Of course there isn't another one like OBJ but this is a copy-cat league and someone will take him.

Cooper isn't as 'quick-twitch' as OBJ but he is an even better route runner. Don't think he will be as good as OBJ but it will be close. He's all you could want in a blue-chip receiver sans the freakish size.

IMO, both have less risk going into the NFL than Cooper.

Maybe the Giants will get lucky with the "third best" WR again this year ;>)
Thay said, if Cooper and White are both gone I don't see them taking Parker. In fact I'm not fully convinced they take a Wr at all honestly .
