MMQB article on NFC East draft needs and solutions

Defenderdawg : 3/24/2015 9:13 am
"If Jerry Reese wants each of his linebackers to treat him to a steak dinner, he’ll draft Washington tackle Danny Shelton at No. 9. Shelton is 6-2 and 339 pounds, and he will keep those linebackers clean by occupying blockers. Pair Shelton and Johnathan Hankins, and the middle of the line of scrimmage is closed. If Shelton is gone, Malcom Brown of Texas could be an excellent addition..."

Crappy article, even if

it was written before Ellis was signed. Not that Shelton or Brown would be bad picks. It's the 2nd round and later choice of focusing on safety and then choosing an injured player as a fix for the O-line.
I also do not think Pugh is a failed tackle because of a weak lower body. So you take a guy weak in the legs and move him to guard? Geezus talk about writing to fit your agenda....
After 2013 the consensus among analysts was that Pugh...

...was the best rookie tackle that year. But now according to this guy he is so bad he shouldn't even be playing the position?

I disagree, he was playing hurt last year and he had dreck next to him at guard. Let's see how he plays this year if healthy and next to a guy that has a clue (hopefully Schwartz).
"Women weakin legs!"

either of these guys followed the Giants last year. It's funny how last year at this time, Pugh was great and Beatty needed to be replaced. Now its the opposite.
I don't get this.

"At offensive tackle, the Giants may have a chance to roll the dice in the third round on Texas A&M’s Cedric Ogbuehi. He probably would have been a first-rounder had he left College Station after the 2013 season, but he chose to return for his senior season and was already sliding down draft boards before he tore his ACL in the Aggies’ bowl game against West Virginia. Now there is no telling where Ogbuehi will go in the draft or what he’ll be able to give a team. But here’s the silver lining: If Ogbuehi can recover—the team that selects him will have to accept the possibility that his rookie year is dedicated to rehab"

We should spend a 3rd round pick on a lineman rehabbing a torn acl who probably won't be able to work this year?
