the Cowboys win 20 Super Bowls than the Eagles in a playoff game. I think I may enjoy an Eagles loss even more than a Giants win. They will never lose enough for me.

The hate I have for the Cowboys is more jocular than anything, honestly. Then, there is no other team I loathe more than the Philadelphia Eagles.
Anyone that lives in NJ west and south of Brick, I guess, and Pennsylvania would understand.
Even when the Yankees beat the Phillies in the World Series back in 09, around these parts of southern NJ it was nothing but Phillies mania from the 2007 Mets choke until the Yankees put a kibosh on that in 09. Even though the Phillies aren't a rival of the Yankees (well, every team is a Yankee rival from everyone else's standpoint) but I feel like it was a nice thing to see the Yankees of all teams end the Phillies fans fall from grace. EVERYONE here was a fucking Phillies fan and it was sickeningly annoying. When I went up to visit my family up north I was all "woohoo! We beat the Phillies" but they couldn't care less.
Plus, I think I just think Eagles Giants is a perfect rivalry.
Philly by a mile. they have the most obnoxious fan base you could ever imagine. Went to college about an hour away from philly and got to see first hand how many animals that fanbase consists of. Plus my 2006 playoff experience at the vet was a nightmare. And to boot I always hated Westbrook, McCoy, Dawkins, McNabb and TO a ridiculous amount
and would guess most BBIers in and around Philly feel that way. I'm sure hatred for a division rival is always more intense if you live in their backyard. My hatred for the Eagles runs bone deep. While I'll grant that it's similar to police in that a few jackasses can give an entire group a bad rep, I've met more than a few stereotypical Eagles fans. The first type are really just your garden variety "my team can do no wrong, your team does nothing right" clowns who find it impossible to say anything positive about the Giants. While annoying they're harmless.
Then there's the true, dyed in the wool Philly trash that will take a leak on the door handles of any car with an opposing teams bumper sticker or chuck full, unopened cans of beer at a group of opposing fans (which may or may not include children) walking through the lot. Inside the stadium things rarely get past trash talk and a lot of it is friendly. But tailgating you'll find masses of human scum looking for trouble. Hopped up on Coors Lite and the Eagles Fan Rep they'll instigate anyone not in green and should anyone respond things can get really ugly, bad mob mentality. An Eagles tailgate is like a Bro Fest. And not the annoying pukka shell necklace wearing Dave Matthews fan bro. The drunk, aggressive with something to prove frat boy bro. And it knows no age boundary.

What really did it for me was the 1987 strike season when the Bears came to Philly for a game. Some Eagles fans beat a Bears fan who flew into town for the game with his family. Eagle fans are scum of the earth and they deserve every season that ends in misery.
I don't like how they are called America's Team as though they are special and above everyone else. Also don't like that they have this feeling of entitlement. I don't like the fact that they hire talented players with serious off the field and on the field problems and I must partially blame the league for allowing these pathetic examples of behavior on the field.
I enjoy watching Cowboys games almost as much as watching Giants games because I enjoy seeing them lose as much as I enjoy seeing us win. Love to see Jerry's face in his owners box as the final seconds tic away to their losing effort.
I really believe my dislike of the Cowboys has nothing to do with the fact they play in our division because so do Washington and the Eagles and they don't bug me at all though I do want them to lose but that IS because they are in our division.
and have been for many years that as a direct result of their fan base, the Eagles shall never, ever experience a SB win. Ever. And that's just right. A certain Rightness within this amazing Universe.
Even so, as a football fan, I hate the Eagles and rejoice every time they lose a game. Loved it when for years, Fassel had their number.
Hate Dallas/Washington also but that is normal division rivalry. Sports wouldn't work if you didn't hate division rivals with a passion.
I hate that organization more than Dallas, Duke, & USC football combined.
Then you'd hate living here in Durham. Everybody's going crazy that the three teams are in the Sweet Sixteen, but the Duke fans and alumni are smug as hell, even when they lose.
I live in Mercer county NJ so there are alot more eagles fans around here. In addition, the Eagles have really been the bane of the giants for the last decade or so. They had a dominant run in the NFC East from '01-'04 and some of the worst losses have come against them:

Dallas on the other hand has been too much of a consistent pain in the ass. Last time the giants met them in the playoffs the giants won on the way to SB 42. I have some concerns about the team that Dallas has built (that O-line is scary good), but I'd have to see them be successful for more then one year in a row before I start worrying too much.
Went to school out in PA, so I witnessed first hand how terrible their fan base is. I still have friends that are Eagles fans, so its nice to revel in their pain.
Also, it feels like they have had our number for the longest time recently, moreso than the Cowboys. That makes me hate them even more.
Remember, the only thing in Philly's trophy case is a dusty can of Chunky Soup and a signed photograph of CiPpy.
The bagel is priceless. It's among the most valuable treasures in human history and MUST be preserved!
Dallas's storied history sucks, I know, but you can't put Humpty Dumpty back together again. Thus it our DUTY to continue to guard the Philly trophy case like a holy and chaste virgin that is never to be befouled.
the Eagles more than the Cowboys. Proximity, recent "success" and the guys who have gone through that franchise make them my least favorite team in any sport.
But I have to admit that over the last 10 years I've shifted more towards despising the Eagles.
My wife and daughter are San Francisco Giants fans first, NY Giants fans second (through me), but we all agree: Regardless of the sport, Philadelphia is evil.
Dallas has a winning record against the Giants all time. Dallas completely embarrassed this franchise through the 70s and they did it with our former coach. THe Dallas NYG history is nauseating even before you factor in Jerry Jones and the 90s era. THen it gets even worse.
Even now, during a glory days era of NYG football (05-111) we STILL have a losing record against Dallas over the last 10 years or so, thanks mainly to the 4 straight losses...
NY has a winning record against Philly. NY has them beat 4-0 in super bowl titles. Every time Philly has one of those water shed crazy win moments against the Giants, the Giants recover and win a super bowl while Philly slinks back to mediocrity.
It's no contest. IF you hate Dallas less than Philly you're just not thinking straight or you are living in the Philly area--that part I get, the others I do not get at all. Dallas fans are smarter than Eagle fans...they are lying, lurking, waiting to sneak out of the woodwork and infect this NJ area with their cocky, arrogant, smug, ignorant and fair weather trash talk. The only reason you don't see Dallas fans is because they have been neutered thanks to 20 years of failure. Eagle fans always trash talk...I don't care.. I find their trash talk comical. It doesn't bother me and it shouldn't bother any Giants fan. We own them. Everyone in the NFC East owns them. We don't own Dallas.
Eagles are my most disliked team (maybe in all of professional sports)
For those of us living outside of N.Y (and Philly) there's nothing worse than listening to those front running know nothing Cowboy fans when their team is going well. Down here in N.C, Cowboy fans are inevitably also Yankee fans, North Carolina Tarheel Basketball fans, and Clemson Tiger college football fans. It's unbelievable.
Beautifully said.

Obviously it's a Giants win, but the margin isn't that great :)
I think most of my dislike comes from sports talk radio in Philadelphia, from the hosts to the callers. In this case, familiarity breeds hatred!!

Most definitely this
1.) All of my in-laws are Eagle fans
2.) In recent memory they have consistently had our number.
Also, it feels like they have had our number for the longest time recently, moreso than the Cowboys. That makes me hate them even more.
Being out West, I rarely run into Eagles or Redskins fans, therefore I clearly want Dallas to lose more than any of the Giants NFC East rivals.
Giants fans in the Philly area (and the DC area as far as the Redskins go) have a "local bias" against their nearby NFC East rivals.
How about those outside of Philly or DC; I'd suspect Dallas losing is the most popular choice.
