The new Friday the 13th is expected to employ the found footage technique and answer the decades old question of why slasher Jason Vorhees can't be killed.
back in 1990. Shitty 8-bit graphics and terrible sound, but at that time it was one of the creepiest thing we used to do as 9-10 year olds during sleepovers.

Friday the 13th was released in North America exclusively in February 1989, as part of LJN's focus on creating video games based on licenses. It is considered by some as one of the worst games of all time.
Obviously we didn't know a good game from terrible games...:( Link - ( New Window )
in fangoria and horrorhound its supposed to take place in the 80's which would be cool .There is also rumors of a video game which will have something in it from each movie .Cant believe part 5 came out 30 years ago this week .Remember it like it was yesterday .

I used to love that game. It was free roam before there was free roam. Facing Jason was terrifying. When you upgraded your weapon, you felt invincible and went looking for Jason (you just had to go to the lakefront cabins, unlike my friend who went into the woods).
I think the hatred toward the game is more due to the publisher LJN, who published a lot of crappy Nintendo games.
-_-
No the real question that has been bothering me for ages is why Jason Vorhees cannot be killed.
