On DirecTv channel 490 (490-1 in HD) there are broadcasts of the Super 15 Rugby League. These are the top-tier professional Southern Hemisphers teams and feed the national teams from Austrailia (Wallabies); New Zealand (All-Blacks) and South Africa (Spring Boks). Next year, teams from Argentina and Japan will join.

The games are broadcast live, so they're very early Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning. If you love the game, you'll want to DVR them. I've adopted an Australian team from Canberra (Brumbies) as my favorite team... they are on a bye this week. Ruck on...

We are from the same era. I played at St Anselm College in New Hampshire and then for the West Hartford Yahoos when I graduated. Good times...
