Beasley

jintman : 3/26/2015 1:57 pm
Who else thinks Vic Beasley can play outside linebacker for us. Beason, Kennard, Beasley. The killer "BEE'S".. Sounds awesome to me. He's probably faster then the other two. Providing he is there which I doubt, can't see why we would pass. Maybe use him with his hand in the dirt on third down.
It works for Von Miller and Bruce Irvin so why not

Unfortunately he's unlikely to be available at #9.
From what I've read
Big Blue '56 : 3/26/2015 2:07 pm : link
Beasley and Cooper most likely won't be there at 9. I'd love either one if they fall to us..

Otherwise, the next BPA appears to be Scherff..

had Beasley going to Jets which is a very smart pick up for the Jets.
And Cooper most likely will be gone.

However, for the second year in a row, the WR corps is supposed to be deep..We got our "Superstar" last year, so another solid WR in Rds 2 or 3 would be fine with me..

I think that leaves Scherff for us as I'm guessing he's in the same tier(or very close to) Beasley and Cooper, imo
Tier as in Reese's tier

.
I think Beasley being there would be a dream.

But I'm sure that at least 4 teams in front of them have the same dream. Real long shot.
Does anyone think Reese will fall in love with Dorial-Beckham?

I am hearing a lot of great things about him this draft season from a performance point of view. I know he has his issues off the field...but I would hate for Chip to get him.
Options @ #9

I don't think @ #9 you pick a player who projects to guard in the NFL. It wouldn't surprise me if they trade down if one the impact players WR, DE/LB isn't available.

It is good, but it isn't even close to as deep or as good as last year. I would say half as good at best which is still a lot. Last year though might have been the best WR draft I have ever seen by a large margin.

Just because you project him as an OG doesn't mean that others or the Giants do. I see Collins and Scherff as OTs.

Not @9. If the Giants don't take a playmaker in round 1, then I think he might be a consideration at #40.
Scherff and Collins can both play OT out of the gate imo
raever : 3/26/2015 3:04 pm : link
You'd think if drafted #9 overall they would be given the chance to succeed at the more 'valuable' position. Dallas did play Martin inside at OG while leaving the lesser player Doug free on the edge. Anyones guess really but the versatility to play multiple positions increases a prospects value.

I'm not he one projecting Schreff as a guard. Every draft analyst projects him as a guard and if that's the case you can find a very good guard on day 2.
Beasley

Might as well give up the wishful thinking for him. Slots 3,5,6,7,& 8 are needing pass rushers. With Gregory out of the mix, most likely, even moreso.
Personally

I don't believe in bad fits. i.e. 4-3 vs 3-4 schemes. I believe a good football player is a good football player and I love Beasley
Beasley will be the best pass rusher in the draft class
Rjanyg : 3/26/2015 6:15 pm : link
IMO he should be the first off the board. Not sure why people are all gaga with Fowler. Fowler may be a better 4-3 candidate based on size alone not necessarily skill. I like Ray he just hasn't done it for an extended period of time.

So, Beasley, Fowler, Ray, Gregory. I like Dupree as well I'm just not sure what his best fit is, 4-3 or 3-4. He seems to have it all, size, speed, strength for 4-3.

Gregory is a big risk with his failed drug test. I don't think the Giants touch him.
I'd LMFAO

if the Giants got "stuck" with Parker and he turned out to be the best of the 3.
