Has Mario Manningham of finally retired?

Headhunter : 3/27/2015 7:21 am
will he or should he get a camp invite? Does he sign a 1 day contract and retire a Giant? Does he sign with another team?
Pretty sure his injuries

took him of the NFL level of wide receivers. He just wasn't sharp enough. Seems like a slight injury with minimal effects can end a career.

off
No harm

in giving him a camp invite but I don't really see the point considering we did that last year.

You see guys like him and Steve Smith who look like they are going to have long promising careers and boom, they are completely done. Really crossing my fingers on Cruz.
A one day contract?

For a guy who couldn't leave here fast enough? No thanks. Not a good enough career to warrant that treatment IMO.
Tough crowd.

So much for one of the most electric, perfect, and crucial catches in Superbowl history meaning dickshit to some folks...
Always a Manningham fan...

...and I was pissed we didn't resign him.
Might have made the 2nd biggest catch in the history

of the franchise. Left for FA and took out a full page ad in the newspaper to thank the fans. He more than deserves to retire a Giant

Nothing wrong with chasing guaranteed money, and after seeing how injuries derailed his career how can you blame him?
Wasnt he a Giant last season?

so technically he is retiring a Giant.
Love manningham

That catch was great but let's not forget his tds in every playoff game of that 2011 run. Was also great with Eli in the 2 minute. Very quick, fun player to watch. Not the best hands but I was a fan and wish his career lasted longer.
i loved manningham.

clutch in 49ers game and SB
Manningham

an underrated piece in two offenses (NYG & SF) given his role as #3 WR.

Without him the Giants don't have enough to get to (and win) 46, and if he didn't get hurt by a cheapshot against Seattle, it might have been enough to put SF over the top in 2012.
