I loved Skyfall, and I believe this is the movie that will really tie all the Craig "reboot trilogy" plot lines together and introduce a lot of the classic Bond-isms back to the films.
On a semi-related note, I rewatched some of the old Brosnan Bond Films recently and.... wow. GoldenEye is a classic, but the other three are utter garbage. Die Another Day is embarrassingly bad and near franchise-killing levels of awful.
same thoughts on Mendez. Skyfall was shit beautifully (Shang Hi skyscraper fight, the boat leading up to the casino, all the fight scenes, etc). Really pumped for this one.

And Timothy Dalton's two Bond movies are underrated entries in the franchise.
Bond movies, but I did grow up on Roger Moore, and no matter how bad some of his bond movies were, I still really enjoy those Bond movies, especially the one's with JAWS (Richard Keil).
Also love what Sam Mendes did, and I also read that Christopher Nolan had some interest, but that seems like a long shot.

And although it goes downhill (WAY DOWNHILL), the beginning of the movie (Bond gets captured in Korea, M trades for him) was fucking brilliant.
James Bond: Threw it away years ago...
Oh, that was M's ring; so M might have been part of SPECTRE. Wonder whether Silva in Skyfall was also part of SPECTRE too
