we are getting a hard frost tonight. After most of my plants have leafed out.
What are these plant things you speak of? I remember tales from the old folk of wild things living under the great snow blanket that covers our world. Is it true!?
actually everything is late for us this year. Which is probably a good thing. I did lose the blooms on my early cherry trees, the ice storm did them in. But right now there are many cherry and red bud trees blooming. Hopefully the frost doesn't destroy them.
I live up,in the adirondacks. 10 degrees last night. No snow today but I still have a 2 foot snow base. Have not seen grass since December and have yet to hit 40 degrees in March this year. This winter needs to die.

living mostly in nova....that sounds cool...I'd like to have a winter like that once and see how I like it.
Today is a great winter and all the mid atlantic ski resorts are closed.
And Long Island has been complete dog shit going on 6 months now. It rains or snows almost every single weekend especially Saturday's. It's very cold almost every single day. It's been windy every single day for the last two weeks. It has snowed every week but one in 2015. We are a week into spring and have not had one nice day not one and another great week ahead of weather for us...And their talking about snow for next satuday gee what a shock bad weather on a Saturday.
18-degree wind chill in western Passaic County, NJ.
