Best possibility mock, We all know that's never gonna happen on draft day.
Like the shaq Thompson pick as his tweener status will allow him to fall.
I just can see them letting Brandon Sherff go at 9 even though cooper would be a great pick we have greater needs
Kroft is another solid pick.
But I wouldn't see them going DT until maybe 5 due to the additions of Ellis and Bromley, but i'm probably wrong.
Late round RB's are always a good pick in my book too.
Cooper isn't lasting until #9.
Thompson isn't a safety.
Ogbuehi probably won't last until the third, and even if he does, he probably won't play this year. The Giants need somebody who can.
Gunter won't last until the sixth.
We have two seventh round picks.
do we actually fix the OL? I don't have any problems with the players in the first two picks, but when we are unable to run the ball consistently and make short yardage first downs we will be back in this same boat next year.

agree 100%. Ive seen enough negative yardage plays the last 2 years to last a lifetime. Its time to address this issue. Cooper is not needed in the first. We can find a quality wideout way later in the draft.
The Giants need TWO offensive linemen. One starter and another talent who either beats out a current starter or comes in if a starter gets injured. Then again, maybe they need TWO starters.
the 7th rd? He is not being investigated about the gf incident. That was settled months ago that she did the bruising to herself (unless something cropped up in the last 3 months.)
Falls to 9 the Giants need to run to the podium (I don't think he will be there at 9). Dude is a stud and agree we do need another stud receiver. Then OL in round 2
said he wants to play LB, but will play any position the team wants him to. He will be good in a hybrid LB/S role. He isn't athletic enough to be a full time Safety IMO
That right, not one safety drafted. Don't sign me up for this, just another losing season with this draft.
I will say every time I do my own mock on Fanspeak , if I don't pick Collins , I end up not drafting one at all. The drop off after him is huge and there is always a better player that has dropped .
Don't want to pick a Safety , just for the sake of picking one. Try it yourself , I bet there will be a player left on the board that you say " well , we need a safety , but I can't pass up ***** ******."
Even if the Giants have a great draft It's not likely to matter much in the grand skeem of things. I mean, really, since when do rookies win you championships anyway. People on here put way to much stock in the draft and it's getting pretty pathetic how little most people on here actually know about the game of football and how it's played.
Draft picks are building blocks for the future unless, you draft a guy like Beckham. We all know how often that happens. Once every (several)generations.

Broheim, did you forget 2007? Or is it YOU that doesn't watch enough football?? Your post is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay off base. Ju-uust a bit outside...

Yeah, none of these bums contributed. I like your energy, chiilin. But, sometimes.......
I never said they didn't have contributors from the rookie class in 2007. the reason they won the superbowl was defense and Eli Manning.
Sure they had some contributions, but the players already on the roster is the main reason for the Giants success that year. Other than an 88 yard run against Buffalo late in the year Bradshaw didn't do much until the postseason. None of the players on that list Had what I would consider a strong rookie season. Did they contribute in some timely spots, ofcourse, Would there win/loss percentage during the regular season have been any different without them? I would say no,except for Bradshaws game winner that I mentioned above.
Like I said above, draft picks are building blocks for the future. Some may make timely contributions throughout the year but without the other pieces in place already those contributions would mean nothing.

At the Combine. Talked about quite a bit. He wants to be a linebacker, not a safety or a running back.
Not liking waiting to 3rd Rd for OL.

And I am seeing more and more mocks with Cooper going to the Raiders at #4.
