CB in the draft

gogiants : 6:59 pm
There looks like a good selection of cornerbacks in the draft. A good future CB would be nice to pick up. In the first round if the following players are gone - Amari Cooper, Kevin White, Brandon Scherff - then take CB Trae Waynes. If not Waynes then in the second round take CB Quintin Rollins.

wondered if we're ignoring CB.
I don't know if Waynes is the right guy as he is purported to be

stiff and overrated but I think a high draft pick at the CB position makes sense.
I think this draft is pretty deep in CB's but not many blue chippers
at the top.

That being said, 3 CB's could still go in the 1st round.

I've drafted up to 3 CB's in my Fanspeak mock drafts, not including a safety !

I had never heard of Trae Waynes before the low 40 time. He may not even be the first CB off the board.
I like Rollins a lot, PJ Williams as well

either one in the 2nd round would be an excellent pick. Both have ball skills, athleticism, and play the run.

Amos of Penn State would be a very good pick in the fourth round, if he lasts that long. CB/S tweener. More of a free than strong safety. Needs to improve his run support, but a very good player.

Steven Nelson. I'd guess he's a 2nd/3rd round pick.
Can he help keep Eli upright?

There are 7 rounds in the draft and the Giants have 8 picks.. Its not just about round 1

is an important position I think the Giants should address. Someone mentioned Nelson: I really like his game, though he isn't a tall corner which the Giants tend to prefer. Darby was a solid corner at FSU, rarely getting challenged. And he ran very well in the combine.

CB is a deep position, so I'd imagine the Giants would grab one.
RE: Can he help keep Eli upright?
We get it, we need OL help. There are at least 3 threads about it on the first page alone. Can we discuss other team needs also?
Would not be surprised

If they took CB in 1st rd. and S in the 2nd. If not think they'll take Armstead, just can't believe they'll not address DE position for now and the future.
