and he's basically saying word for word what Cooper/White supporters are saying when looking at the 9th overall pick. Not that his word is any better than anyone else's, but its atleast nice to see the anti-Kiper need based pick.
wow, Washington passed on Bob Lilly, John Mackey and Lance Allworth? and could have had Jim Brown? wow, their drafting sucks. lol. They did get Baugh, a HOF Qb and Punter.
I don't think Holliman is our kind of safety. Yes he has range but he's such a horrible tackler. Spags's safeties need to be interchangeable and tackle well. Holliman is willing to go out of his way to not tackle.
However, I won't like it but for the second pick. Look, based on the needs of the Giants and the strength of this draft the Giants need to get a DT or DE with the first pick. In the second round an offensive tackle does make sense, not sure if Jake Fisher would be my preferred pick here but I won't lose sleep with this pick. As for the third round, the Giants need to draft a free safety and a strong safety and base on the strength it is better to get a strong safety with that third round pick and get a free safety in the fourth round. I don't doubt there is a good chance that this is the way that the Giants will draft, however I believe there is a better draft for the Giants.
DT, Danny Shelton. A need pick, can not ignore that the Giants have had one of the worse defensives for the last few year, and for the run defensive, forget about it.
OT, YES. Who, the best on the board, just hoping there will be someone there worth taking with a second round pick. If not then that a whole new ballgame.
SS, Jaquiski Tratt. Get your free safety in the fourth round and I won't doubt that the Giants can address their needs for a free safety as late as the fifth round, they will be there. I just don't see this draft as a deep strong safety draft.

Agreed.
Top 2 are great but I'd likely go DE with Henry Anderson, Mario Edwards, or Odi (if he drops due to medical like Tuck) in the third.
Then Safety : Adrian Amos ,Eskridge or Drummond in the fourth
Pretty much agree with all the analysis given.
Although I watch a lot of college ball, most of what I learn about draft prospects, I learn here.
Cooper is a no brainer he's the #2 overall player imo.
Fisher #40 I like the value but I'm hoping for a more powerful OL option as it's an area of weakness Fisher doesn't address. B+
