Team captains in the 2015 Draft

We all know how the Giants seem to favor team captains in their drafts. Well, there are a number of them among the players the Giants have already met with or are thought to be interested in, including:

Scherff
La'el Collins
Cooper
Dupree
Ali Marpet
T.J. Clemmings
Jake Ryan
Sean Hickey

And several of them are safeties:

Demarious Randall
Derron Smith
Anthony Harris

is not unique to the Giants, the Patriots are also heavily invested in team captains.

Other teams also consider it, but you also need to understand for most (or many) college teams the best players are captains and the best players get drafted so there is a big overlap.

If there's one player who I expect to be a Giant come May, it's Sean

No more BSing around with some dumb ass who doesn't get it. Cooper, Scherff, Collins, Clemmings, Marpet and Dupree are guys who I actually want on the roster and they are captains too. Sign me up, no more "oh what's the big deal he just smoke a joint as he walked into combines but he gots a shit load of talent, amirite" types.

If you are referring to Beckham. He was indeed a LSU team captain.
