We will use this as a discussion thread to keep the picks thread uncluttered. These threads will be used for the duration of the entire draft and will need to be bumped occasionally to push them back to page 1 of the forum.
Once a team is on the clock, they will have two hours to make a selection. If a team goes on the clock after 4pm, their two hour window will roll over to the next day. For example, if you go on the clock at 4:30pm, you will have until 9:30 am to make a selection. Picks may be made between 6pm and 9am if GMs are online and following the draft thread. The time limit only applies during the 9am to 6pm timeframe. If the two hour time limit expires, I will make a pick using any list that the GM for the team has sent me in advance (send lists to the email address in my profile) or in the absence of a list, I will use the
GBN Big Board with a little discretion so as not make an obvious dumb pick (ie: Indianapolis Colts won’t be taking a QB in the 1st round this year). If a GM misses two consecutive picks without providing a prospect list or making some form of contact with me (email or posting on the draft thread) BlueManFu, BigBlueDownTheShore, odunde and uncledave will have priority to fill the vacancy. Otherwise, the spot will be reassigned to one of the BBIers that didn't get into the draft but were active in the draft discussion thread.
Once again, I strongly encourage all GMs to utilize the
BBI Mock Draft Spreadsheet . The spreadsheet contains the draft order (RD1-6) by team and GM with a fairly comprehensive list of both available and taken prospects based on the GBN Big Board (as well as several other prospects that did not make the GBN Big Board). I will try to keep the spreadsheet and thread updated as often as possible. I have saved the
GBN Big Board (3/27) for your reference as well.
Matt, thanks for all you are doing, including the email reminders. Fantastic and much appreciated!
Sorry for holding you all up.
Sorry for holding you all up.
Matt G will pick soon so if you have 2 people lined up you can list them here and we will just fire the top guy when ready or he should actually be making it soon so probably within half an hour you will be up
Happy with Erving, that is how we thought it would play out. He should be able to come in and compete for a starting spot immediately, likely replacing Hudson at OC.
Eddie Goldman is the answer and will be the disruptive force they need inside.
Grumble grumble!!
1 down. Surprised that Dupree fell this far
Just wanted to see greater production in college. If FMiC can pick soon I am ready
Panthers would have liked to get Dorian Green-Beckham, but the off-field red flags probably make their pick of Jaelen strong a little safer.
Plus, I think Strong will be the most intriguing pick of the first round. He has great upside and potential

oasts exciting tools and may ultimately wind up the best of the 2015 offensive tackle crop. Prototypical frame for the modern left tackle with broad shoulders, long arms (34 7/8"), a trim middle and thick thighs. Demonstrates fluidity, quickness and athleticism that are ideal for a next-level tackle. Uses his wide base to cut off edge rushers and adjust to multiple rushers coming his way, meeting them with stone hands and violently disposing of bodies. Utilizes long arms and a rapid, fluid kick-slide to stall and mirror opponents on the edge, and considering his lack of experience on the O-line, is surprisingly consistent with his technique - particularly his footwork. Shows good natural flexibility in his lower half to bend on contact, and as a run blocker can fire through to the second level where he has the ability to square up and target effectively in space. The athleticism and ability to pick things up quickly are both apparent.
Clemmings is rough around the edges but boasts undeniable upside. With a similar committment towards improvement as Vollmer has shown with the Patriots, Clemmings could emerge as a standout right tackle in the NFL or perhaps even flip to the all-important left tackle position after acclimating to the NFL's speed
It was between Brown and Odighizuwa for my pick. Owa might have been a slightly better scheme fit in the 3-4, but Brown was a lot higher ranked
BlueManFu, BigBlueDownTheShore, odunde and uncledave will have priority.
