Kevin White's visit with the #Giants took place today. Doing their due diligence if he's there at No. 9 #NFLDraft

If this has already been posed, please inform me politely and I will remove this thread. Thank you.
WR is Cooper, White, Parker, Strong, Green-Beckham, Agholor, Dorsett, Perriman, Justin Hardy & Devin Smith. Three of those guys I want the Giants nowhere near in Perriman, Smith & Dorial Green-Beckham. So only 7 WRs that I feel are worth a pick in the first 3 rounds.
If Kevin White is there then Jerry better be skipping his way to Chicago. We would have a Julio Jones type threat opposite Odell with Cruz in the slot. Would be a disgusting receiving corp. Go with a guy like Preston Smith/Odi in the 2nd & Tre Jackson/Tyler Sambrailo in the 3rd. Would be a GREAT draft IMO.
And how does he help us in the trenches on either side of the ball where we need it most?

Good thing the draft is more than one round..
I'm all for a DE in the 1st round. I want Randy Gregory, Vic Beasley or Dante Fowler more then any other players in this draft, but if Kevin White is there then you take him. He's right there with Amari Cooper as the best WR in the draft. Projected to go top 4. So if he is somehow there at 9 then you take him.
Or an OL of Beatty, Schwartz, Richburg, Pugh and Peat?
Or a DT rotation with Hankins and Shelton?
A lot of nice possibilities.
So I guess they'll take a punter. ;-)
JPP played at the College of Canyons for 1 year, then 1 year at Fort Scott Community College. Transferred to USF where he played for 1 year. He's also turned out pretty good no?
Kevin White didn't play often in 2013 yet he had over 500 yards & 5 TDs. He just got his 1st chance to start last year. In 2014 he played 13 games & had over 1400 yards & 10 TDs with complete shit at QB. Of those 13 games he had 100+ yards in 9 of them.
For comparison sake Amari Cooper only had 700 yards & 4 TDs in 2013 playing full time with a much better QB. In 2014 he played in 14 games and 8 of them were 100+ yards.

So is this like your personal guarantee that White will absolutely not perform like a top 10 pick and that the Giants definitely would not find OL talent in the following rounds?
If the Giants think White is the best player available at 9 and they choose him, I'll ride with them on that. They do very damn well over recent years at evaluating WR talent.

boom !
1.ereck flowers
2.denzel perryman
3.byron jones or quitien rollins
...I'm with you.
You don't want a top WR at 9 but you'll take a Guard or a 3-4 LB there.... Puzzling.
Agree with you on the DE...but Dupree is not a stud DE..his tape is just not impressive..,I would put Fowler, Beasley, Gregory at 1)a and if all three are gone go White 1)b followed by Shelton at 1)c followed by 1)d Scherff

Excuse me EG(and I'm not being personal), but aren't you being just a bit disingenuous? Weren't you championing a TE, Maxx Williams at 9 for quite some time? Please don't tell me how he can technically help out the OL with his blocking..That would be a real stretch from the point you're making above this post..:)
Regardless, I have no problem with Randle starting at that spot next year, drafting a receiver in the 2nd or even 3rd round, and hopefully improve at the Tight End position.
I am hoping for the #9 pick to be Peat or La'el Collins. Although I think I would prefer Collins, I look at Peat as having the highest ceiling, a potential All-Pro LT, but is the bigger risk. I think Collins can play G or RT right away, and potentially could be the LT of the future. In terms of immediate help to the line, I think Collins is the guy.
I wouldn't throw the remote if the pick is White, though, but I would have concerns, and I doubt we would improve a great deal without addressing the line.
White may be as well. Just no to Gregory unless they can a hair him as having a weed issue that young scares me. The rules are the rules and the Giants need his pick to play be it WR DE ETC
And no to Dupree. Eric Dorsey.
That is as simple and logical an argument for BPA as one can make. From the physical skills standpoint you jump all over White at 9. What the Giants must be investigating is if White has the head to be great - as most likely 2nd fiddle to OBJ.
That leaves: Peat, La'el Collins, Scherff, Flowers, Shelton, Beasley, Dupree, Ray, Gregory, Waynes, Landon Collins, Cooper, and White. (And possibly Gurley)
How certain can you be that one of the other 13 players won't be grabbed in one of the other 4 spots? I think we may be shocked at who is there at the # 9 spot. I'm hoping there is a run on the LB/DE smaller edge rushers. If you took Ray, Beasley, Gregory out of the equation - players who I don't think we'll take anyway - Giants could have a very interesting decision to make at the #9 spot. FTR, I don't think White will be the pick.
