A scary new report from Judicial Watch, warns that ISIS has setup a terrorist camp just 8 miles from the US-Mexico border. The camp, near El Paso, and the crime-ridden city of Juárez, is located in a dangerous area controlled by multiple drug cartels.
The report claims that ISIS selected this area because of "their understaffed municipal and county police forces, and the relative safe-havens the areas provide for the unchecked large-scale drug smuggling that was already ongoing."
A recent raid by Mexican Army and federal law enforcement officials uncovered multiple "documents in Arabic and Urdu, as well as 'plans' of Fort Bliss".
The report cites "Mexican intelligence sources" who say that ISIS is well entrenched in the area, with 'spotters' in the mountains and has been doing reconnaissance on local universities, government buildings, and power facilities.
Man, do we ever need a wall there. But they would just circumvent that, too. This country has some serious problems. Not the least of which is a Cartel/ISIS partnership.
Sobering.
