Opening round kicks off today @ 12:30 EST with Wiz vs. Raptors & the whole 'We The North'. Then it's Warriors vs. The Brow/Pelicans. Bulls-Bucks at 7:00, followed by the Texas showdown between Houston & Dallas.
I love the NBA playoffs. Two months of terrific basketball.
Spurs up 8 on the Clips at the half. Huge 2nd half coming up.
The Clips are in deep shit. They need to cut that lead in half by the end of the quarter.
Who you got as your top 5? Gets harder as years go on... I dont know if I have Duncan top. maybe 7-8.

Arguably the best player since MJ, arguably a Top 5 player of all-time, hands down one of the best teammates ever.

All-Time is Jordan + the 3 GOAT Centers (Russ/Wilt/Kareem). 5th place is so tough to pick because of all the guys in contention, including Duncan.
Post-80 (aka post-Magic/Bird), I'd rank them in tiers like this...
Jordan
Duncan/Magic/Shaq/Bird/LeBron
Hakeem/Kobe
Garnett/Dirk/Malone/Barkley/Robinson
Duncan might be the 2nd best player of the Modern Era (post-80/3pt line).
Hope you and your girl had a good time. Nice win, showed atleast a little toughness.
If I could be the GM on any team in the NBA, I think I might go to the Bucks. They're just a few years and a few tweaks away from being formidable.
Rose looks good. Bulls need to re-sign Butler and go all-in on the Rose/Butler backcourt. That could potentially rival Golden State as the best backcourt in the league if Rose really is back.

to the nets game today... 2 rows back. hoping we last through at least half the game!

thanks dude. Was a very fun day- she held up well - the series has been pretty even though out. Bogdonovic was tough today- and Lopez/johnson created matchup issues. Horford looks like a shell of himself. Lopez has owned him. I see little reason why they cant tie it up Monday if they bring the effort.
Once Davis steps his mental game up on D, he will finally become a legit DPOY candidate. And that, along with more offensive growth as a ball-handler/creator, will make him unstoppable.
Great season for the 22 year old Anthony Davis. But 27 year old Steph Curry was slightly better this year, and had a far better supporting cast. Surprised that the Pelicans couldn't even steal 1 game, but they had their chance in Game 3 and let it slip away.
Memphis is just punching Portland in the face over and over again, and there's nothing the Blazers can do about it. Memphis vs. Warriors will be an interesting playoff battle.
When he gets the ball at the free throw line both Diaw and Splitter are letting him shoot. STOP settling for that jumper and take 1-2 dribble and rise above these guys for a better shot.
Too often he gets this ball at this spot and doesn't even look to drive. He kicks it out too much. Or he settles for a jumper. That's what they want you to do. Every time you do that its a win for the Spurs.
Catch that pass, instantly drive and beat the hell out of those 2. I'm a Clippers fan. He needs to score 40+ today and play more aggressive on getting closer to the basket.
Tim Duncan has been amazing especially when you consider he was doing it against Jordan. It was a low post clinic in that last one.
Must win for Clippers.
CP3, despite playing well in the playoffs, has never advanced to even a CF. That's a hole in his resume that is keeping his legacy from becoming something greater. He's one of the greatest PGs ever, period. But he needs to prove it on the big stage. And he needs to deliver a monster performance today.
I'm rooting for the Clips hard. I want this series to go 6/7.
Love out for the game. Any long term injury will hurt them against Chicago.
Disgraceful.
